Destiny Bound
During either player's turn; you can tribute this card; if you do, cards you control cannot be destroyed by your opponent's cards (by battle or by card effect), until the End Phase, also all battle damage you take this turn becomes 0. If the combined Levels of all cards you control except this card is more than 8, banish this card on the field. You can only control 1 "Valliance the Fodder".
Art Credit: Sword-Summoner (link to image).

John Kelly
Waboku is superior in every way.
Destiny Bound
Not quite, because of several reasons: Waboku cannot be used in Synchro/Xyz summons, and cannot be banished from the Graveyard to activate the effects of Desert Twister, Gigantes, etc. Waboku is a trap card - something used to negate Waboku probably wouldn't otherwise have been used in the entire duel, whilst a Veiler wasted on this guy to give a near-OTK could lose you the duel (due to it not being around to stop BLS, etc). This guy can double a beatstick in extreme circumstances at 1800 ATK, whilst Waboku can't. However, all though your statement of "Waboku is superior in every way." is not in fact factually correct, "Waboku is superior in most ways." would be. I do realise that any defence of this card is probably just wasting my energies, but I like the idea - it can run as multiple things, either a wall or beatstick, or just a material for, say, Utopia. Although it may not "take the Meta by storm", I expect that it would quickly find a home in some slower Warrior-type and EARTH strategies.
