BoricuaBeast
lore: Activate this card when you control a "Dyson" monster: Monsters your opponent controls cannot attack. Ok, so this is supposed to combo with Atlantic Invitation.... I see...
evilfusion
Good to see this card didn't require C09, because that level of plot-deviceness made me see red. Kind of pointless to be designed this way, though. If you have regular No.9, they get their attacks negated anyway. I suppose it's to prevent direct attacks or effect negation from defeating Number 9, but still, how many cards did V create recently other than Argent Chaos Force? Then again, V did have a Trap that required Dyson Sphere in his WDC Duel against Kaito, so whatever.
玄魔の王
Yet another instance of a worse existing card. Fiendish Chain would have stopped C107 using Time Tyrant, Threatening Roar would have created a lingering effect it couldn't stop, Bottomless removes it from the field. And remember Space Gate? Yeah... Screw this card.
newhat
It's not completely useless, since it perpetually locks your opponent out of attacking, but it's terribly winmoar.

It prevents them from attacking a monster that negates attacks thrown at it. This card would have been better-served as a Skill Drain to supplement what Dyson Sphere already does. This card would have been better-served as a Skill Drain to supplement what Dyson Sphere already does. Which means its purpose is to prevent attacks from OTHER monsters you control, or from attacking directly. Or if Dyson Sphere is negated by Neo Galaxy-Eyes. It's not winmoar, as suggested. It's just superfluous, but absurdly conditional, defense.

A) V only ever keeps Dyson Sphere on his field when he duels. B) negating the effect of a Neo Galaxy-Eyes accomplishes the same thing. C) relatively few players even use direct attackers, in the OCG or the anime, but scrubbing their effects will also stop that 95% of the time. newhat
Are we talking about the same thing? If printed as translated, it would remain on the field after Dyson Sphere dies.

Miror B
It prevents them from attacking a monster that negates attacks thrown at it. no, it prevents them from attacking period. It just happens to require dyson sphere to actually activate

玄魔の王
And outside of anime land? There's like one deck that can make Dyson Sphere, and they don't even like to. Not to mention the reason the top decks play so little back row this format...
Miror B
Not to mention the reason the top decks play so little back row this format... 1) Who cares when we aren't talking about the top decks? 2) They play backrow anyway, and you didn't even say the reason :/
玄魔の王
First of all, why are you specifically arguing with me when I'm just saying the same thing as the others who commented on this card? It's stupidly conditional, has very little to offer for the amount of commitment is requires, and if inferior to several existing cards which do essentially the same thing. Hell, it wasn't even effective in the episode to feature it. None of this is stuff only I've said, so why are you pestering me? 1) Who cares when we aren't talking about the top decks? 2) They play backrow anyway, and you didn't even say the reason :/ 1) Because at some point you will have to play against said top decks, and they tear cards like this apart. 2) Because I don't have to. It's the same problem faced by all continuous Traps: it's slow, and it gets blown up easily. "MST exists" may not be a sufficient reason, but "backrow hate in general is so abundant that this card is a sitting duck" certainly is. And even if it stops attacks, it does not stop monster effects, which are a far greater threat these days.
