Arhionvar
Here's the Horror archetype! I know it's a bit late for Halloween, but as Shadow Specters was released yesterday, I still felt the theme and wanted to make an archetype for it! This card gains 100 ATK/DEF for each "Horror" monster you control. If this card is discarded to the graveyard by a card effect: special summon it from the graveyard. When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: you can discard 1 card, then special summon this card from your hand to negate that attack, and change that monster's battle position. This card gains 500 ATK/DEF for each "Horror" monster you control and in your graveyard. If this card is discarded to the graveyard by a card effect: special summon it from the graveyard. When a "Horror" monster you control is destroyed by and opponent's card (either by battle or a card effect) You can discard 1 card, then special summon this card from your hand. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF for each "Horror" monster you control. If this card is discarded to the graveyard by a card effect: special summon it from the graveyard. If you control another "Horror" monster, this card's original ATK becomes 2000. If this card attacks, discard 1 card, it is changed to defense position at the end of the damage step, and cannot change its battle position. This card gains 300 ATK/DEF for each "Horror" monster you control. If this card is discarded to the graveyard by a card effect: special summon it from the graveyard. If this card battles a non-dark monster, you can discard 1 card. At the end of the damage step, destroy the opponent's monster. This card gains 500 ATK/DEF for each "Horror" monster you control. If this card is discarded to the graveyard by a card effect: special summon it from the graveyard. When this card is summoned, target 1 monster your opponent controls. When 3 of your turns have passed, discard 1 card and destroy that target. This card cannot be destroyed by card effects when this effect has not resolved. This card gains 400 ATK and 200 DEF for each "Horror" monster you control. If this card is discarded to the graveyard by a card effect: special summon it from the graveyard. If this card attacks a defense position monster, you can discard 1 card, and if you do, this card inflicts piercing battle damage to your opponent. This card gains 800 ATK/DEF for each "Horror" monster you control. If this card is discarded to the graveyard by a card effect: special summon it from the graveyard. If this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: you can discard 1 card and add 1 "Horror" spell/trap card from your deck to you hand. This card gains 400 ATK/DEF for each "Horror" monster you control and in your graveyard. If this card is discarded to the graveyard by a card effect: special summon it from the graveyard. Once per turn: You can discard 1 card to place 1 Dread Spider counter on 1 face-up monster on the field. When a monster has 3 Dread Spider counters on it, destroy that monster. 2 Level 3 "Horror" Monsters This card gains 500 ATK/DEF for each "Horror" monster you control and in your graveyard. If this card is destroyed by a card effect: you can discard 1 card. During your next standby phase, special summon this card from the graveyard, and you can attach 2 "Horror" monsters from your hand or graveyard to it as Xyz materials. You can banish 2 Xyz materials attached to this card and discard one card to take control of one of your opponent's monsters. This card cannot attack during the turn this effect is activated. Destroy this card during the end phase of the turn it is special summoned. This card gains 1000 ATK for each "Horror" monster you control. If this card attacks, place 1 "Horror" counter on this card. You can detach 1 Xyz material from this card: this card gains 500 ATK for each Horror counter on it, then remove all Horror counters from this card. 2 Level 1 "Horror" Monsters This card gains 100 ATK for each "Horror" monster you control. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz material from this card and discard 1 card; this card can attack your opponent directly this turn. All "Horror" monsters on the field gain 400 ATK/DEF for each "Horror" monster on the field. Once per turn: you can discard 1 cards, then draw 1 card. During each end phase, place 1 Horror Soul Castle counter on 1 "Horror" monster you control. You can remove 3 Horror Soul Castle counters from 1 "Horror" monster you control to draw 2 cards. When this card is discarded to the graveyard: All "Horror" monsters you control gain 1000 ATK/DEF. Discard 1 card: for the rest of this turn, "Horror" monsters you control are unaffected by the effects of other spell/trap cards.
spoderman
I really like the artwork and effects. But I think that you're going a bit too heavily on the discards. Seems like a weakened Dark World to me (them being fiends and all)

Seems like a weakened Dark World to me (them being fiends and all) Well, all of them discard for their effects to special summon the others because this is a turbo-turbo Xyz archetype. They make levels 1 to 4 in a mere turn or two turns. That's the main reason they're kind of underpowered, as all you really do is make Xyz. The only ones other than the level ones which are really standalone are Pumpkinsect and Spirit, because Pumpkinsect searches field or bus and spirit can't be destroyed by card effect for 3 turns (and those 3 turns are a time bomb on your opponent's monsters). The other reason They are underpowered is because they are kind of like the Ghostricks... See what I'm getting at? Well anyway, thanks for your thoughts! That cleared it up for me XD Although I'd like to know a combo that could overpower your opponent.
