Your opponent cannot target this card for attacks. Once per turn, by detaching 1 Xyz Material from this card: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; this card gains ATK equal to the targeted monster Rank/Level x 600. If this card is to be sent to the Graveyard: detach 1 Xyz material from this card and target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy the targeted monster instead.

I think that the OCG needs a slight fix:

 

This card cannot be targeted for an attack. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; This card gains ATK equal to the targeted monster's Level/Rank x 600. If this card would be sent to the graveyard: You can detach 1 Xyz Material: Negate the destruction; Then target 1 monster controlled by your opponent: Destroy that target.

 

btw, i find this card to be very OP (unless the opponent has Fiendish/Memory Loss/Heraldry Record ready in their field), it can easily gain 3000 ATK points from a level/rank 5 monster, and the effect is continuous, so it can just repeat the process 2 more times and become a 9000 ATK beater that cannot be engaged in battle (So he can avoid effects like No. 54/No. 96/C96 that can either reflect the battle damage or halve/deplete it completely).

 

It needs some work indeed.
