I tried to moderate their effects, Spells and Traps, lore, etc. based on the game mechanics and the individual skills that every character have to offer. Those of you who are familiar with this incredible game can make the connections ^^. I tried to make their effects as fair and balanced as possible; if not, well... here we are, right? learning =) Feel free to leave any feedback or constructive critics please, because I would love to improve and continue to make more cards in the near future ;). [spoiler="Effect Monsters"] Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, if this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from it; increase your Life Points by 800 points after damage calculation. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; change 1 Attack Position monster your opponent controls to Defense Position. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; decrease the DEF of 1 monster your opponent controls by 500 points until the End Phase. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, when an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; select the target of the attack. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; Special Summon 1 "Nirvana Token" (Machine-Type/LIGHT/Level 3/ATK 1800/DEF 0) in Attack Position. You can only control 1 face-up "Nirvana Token". This Token cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, if this card attacks an opponent's monster: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; return the attacked monster to their owner's Deck after damage calculation. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from it; send 2 cards from the top of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, if any of your face-up monsters are targeted by an opponent's attack: You can remove 1 Heat counter from this card; switch the target(s) to this card instead. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; it cannot be destroyed by battle this turn. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; it can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, when a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster's effect is activated: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; negate the activation and destroy it. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; it gains ATK equal to its Level x 100 until the End Phase. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; it can attack your opponent directly, but when it uses this effect, any Battle Damage it inflicts to your opponent is halved. 2 Level 4 monstersWhile this card has Xyz Materials: It is unaffected by your opponent's Spell effects. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, if this card attacks a Defense Position monster: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from it; inflict twice as piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; roll a six-sided die. The result is multiplied by 100 points and added to the ATK of this card until the End Phase. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, if this card attacks a face-down Defense Position monster: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from it; destroy that monster immediately with this card's effect without applying damage calculation. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; roll a six-sided die, and Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand unless you roll a 1 or 6. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; Special Summon 1 "Ignis Token" (Machine-Type/DARK/Level 4/ATK 2000/DEF 0) in Attack Position. You can only control 1 face-up "Ignis Token". This Token cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon. Players take no Battle Damage from battles involving this Token. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; inflict 700 damage to your opponent. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; it can attack your opponent directly. Other monsters cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; target 1 face up monster your opponent controls. That target loses 500 ATK until the End Phase. 2 Level 4 monstersWhile this card has Xyz Materials: It is unaffected by your opponent's Trap effects. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, if this card attacks: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from it; this card gains 500 ATK during damage calculation only. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; switch its original ATK and DEF until your opponent's End Phase. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card; draw 1 card. If you would activate this card's effect by removing a Heat Counter(s) from it, you can remove Heat Counters from an "Azurebond" monster instead. During your Standby Phase, place 1 Heat Counter on a face-up card you control that you can place a Heat Counter on, except this card. Each time this card battles: Place 1 Heat Counter on it during damage calculation (max. 4). Once per turn, when this card is selected as an attack target: You can remove 1 Heat Counter from it; negate the attack. 3 Level 4 "Azurebond"monstersMust be Xyz Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; destroy all other monsters on the field. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. When this card is destroyed, place 1 Heat Counter on all face-up "Azurebond" monsters that you can place a Heat Counter on. [/spoiler][spoiler="Spell Cards"] Equip only to a face-up "Azurebond" monster. Each time a Spell Card is activated, place 1 counter on this card. The equipped monster gains 200 ATK for each counter on this card. Once per turn, if you would activate a card's effect by removing a counter(s) from the equipped monster you control, you can remove counters from this card instead. Activate only when a face-up "Azurebond" monster you control is declared as an attack target. Negate the attack, then place 1 Heat Counter on it. Banish 1 "Azurebond"monster from your hand, face-down. During your opponent's 3rd Standby Phase after this card's activation, Special Summon that card. Target 1 face-up "Azurebond" monster you control. That target can activate its effects without removing Heat Counters from it until the End Phase. After activation, place 4 Heat Counters on this card. During each of your turns you can move 1 Heat Counter from this card to another face-up card that you can place a Heat Counter on. When there are no Heat Counters on this card, destroy it. Place 1 Heat Counter on a face-up "Azurebond" monster that you can place a Heat Counter on. During your Draw Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard, you can add it to your hand instead of drawing. You can only activate 1 "Heat Gauge Charge" per turn. Target 1 face-up "Azurebond" monster you control; equip this card to that target. It gains either 500 ATK or DEF. Once per turn, you can change your choice while this card remains face-up on the field. If the equipped monster would be destroyed as a result of battle, destroy this card instead. Equip only to a face-up "Azurebond" monster. It gains 400 ATK. Banish any monster that battles with it, at the end of the Damage Step. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard while equipped: You can discard 1 Spell or Trap Card, return this card to the hand. Activate only if your opponent's Life Points are at least 2000 higher than yours. Target 1 face-up "Azurebond" monster you control; place as many Heat Counters as possible on it. Target 1 "Azurebond" monster in your Graveyard that was destroyed during your opponent's Battle Phase; Special Summon it. Destroy 1 face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls with the highest ATK. (If it is a tie, you get to choose.) You cannot conduct your Battle Phase during the turn you activate this card. Each time a Spell or Trap Card is activated, place 1 Heat Counter on this card. Once per turn, if you would activate a card's effect by removing a Heat counter(s) from cards you control, you can remove Heat Counters from this card instead. If this card would be destroyed, you can remove 1 Heat Counter from this card instead. Target an "Azurebond" monster you control with at least 1 Heat Counter on it. Move up to 4 Heat Counters from that target to another face-up "Azurebond" monster that you can place a Heat Counter on. Place 1 Heat Counter on this card for each Standby Phase that have passed since this card was activated. During your turn, remove any number of Heat Counters from this card: Target 1 monster in your hand or Graveyard with Level equal to the number of removed Heat Counters; Special Summon it. Increase the ATK of all face-up "Azurebond" monsters by 300 points. Once per turn, during your Draw Phase, you can add 1 "Azurebond" monster from your Deck to your hand. If you don't control at least 1 "Azurebond" monster, destroy this card. [/spoiler][spoiler="Trap Cards"] When your opponent Normal or Flip Summons 1 monster with 1500 or more ATK: Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Machine-Type/LIGHT/Level 5/ATK 0/DEF 1000). (This card is also still a Trap Card.) This card cannot be destroyed by battle with a Level 7 or lower monster. During each of your End Phases, this card gains 1000 ATK. If this card attacks, its ATK is returned to 0, after damage calculation. This card can only be activated by removing 4 Heat Counters from a face-up "Azurebond" monster you control: Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; banish it. Then inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK. The card effects of your opponent's monsters are negated. Spells, Traps and Effect Monsters' effects cannot be activated in response to this card's activation. Target up to 2 "Azurebond" monsters in your Graveyard; shuffle them into the Deck. When this card resolves: You can Special Summon 1 "Azurebond Drone Nu-13" from your hand. Tribute 1 "Azurebond" monster with 1500 or more ATK, and at least 1 Heat Counter on it; check your opponent's hand and all monsters they control, and destroy all those monsters with 2000 or less ATK. Activate when an "Azurebond" monster you control with at least 1 Heat Counter on it declares an attack to a Defense Position monster: Remove 1 Heat Counter from the attacking monster. The DEF of the attack target becomes 0 until the end of this turn. Activate only when an "Azurebond" monster you control with at least 1 Heat Counter on it destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Remove 1 Heat Counter from the monster that has attacked; it can attack again during this Battle Phase, and your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards in response to this second attack. Activate only when an "Azurebond" monster is selected as an attack target while you have no cards in your hand. Destroy the attacking monster. Then you can target 1 Equip Card in your Deck or Graveyard; add that target to your hand. When your opponent would Normal or Special Summon a monster: Banish 1 "Azurebond" monster from your Graveyard; negate the Summon and destroy it. Then both players draw 1 card. Activate only when an "Azurebond" monster you control is selected as an attack target. Reveal the top card of your Deck; negate the attack and end the Battle Phase. Activate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack to an "Azurebond" monster you control: Discard 1 Spell or Trap Card; negate the attack and banish the attacking monster. Your stats say your new but you are very skilled in card making. Doing 1 card at a time. Ragna's effect is spot on. Doesnt seem overpowered because of his ATK being 1800. So his effect is perfect. Although it is your perspective, and I respect that. On another note, I've only played the games so far but I thought Carl was considered a puppeteer, not a magician. Arksend Posted January 16, 2014 Report Share Posted January 16, 2014 Mmm perhaps Kagura's effect is interesting but not very reliable or useful since you'll need to change its position to make use of its effect. By the other hand, I think "The black beast" is too much overpowered or at least too easy to summon it since almost all of your monsters are level 4.
