You can only activate 1 "Spellbook of The Damned" per turn.

 

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why the one card in the game that supports "Prophecy" monsters specifies Level 3! It is why there is no direct Monarch support! Because there are way too many cards that have the required name string in Japanese but not in English to even consider making fully direct support for them.

 

Also, the card should probably have a different name. And picture. A bloody hand coming out of a generic book does not fit Spellbooks at all, and Yu-Gi-Oh! tends to avoid words like "damned".

 

And does the set really have much use for this? I'm not much of an expert on Spellbooks, but I think they prefer searching their cards to dumping them.

 

All in all, I don't like the design of this card, in effects or in aesthetics.
