Lonk
... that they need more Spells and Traps that work best when milled. Pious Gift Normal Spell Card If you control a "Lightsworn" monster, draw 1 card. When this card is sent from your Deck to your Graveyard: Draw 1 card. You can only use "Pious Gift" once per turn. Lightsworn Cross Normal Spell Card During the turn this effect is activated, you take no Battle Damage from battles involving "Lightsworn" monsters this turn. Also, when an opponent's monster battles a "Lightsworn" monster, destroy the battling monster. When this card is sent from your Deck to your Graveyard: Target 1 Level 4 or lower "Lightsworn" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. If you do, you cannot send any more cards from your Deck to the Graveyard this turn. This effect of "Lightsworn Cross" can only be used once per turn. Shield of Sanctum Normal Trap Card When a "Lightsworn" monster you control is targeted for an attack: Negate the attack and end the Battle Phase. If this card is in your Graveyard except during the turn it was sent there, you can banish this card from your Graveyard and target 1 "Lightsworn" monster you control; once during this turn, that monster is unaffected by card effects. This effect of "Shield of Sanctum" can only be used once per turn. Return of Law Normal Trap Card All "Lightsworn" monsters you control gain 500 ATK (permanantly). When this card is sent from your Deck to your Graveyard: Target 1 Level 5 or higher "Lightsworn" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. While this card is in your Graveyard, you cannot Special Summon monsters from your hand.
Sora1499
Pious Gift is too good. LS already has a killer draw engine, they don't need another that capitalizes off of being milled. Cross allows you to run a bajillion reborns that bring back luminas and raidens for even more shenanigans, so it's also too good. Not to mention that drawing it makes all your LS invinci-beaters. Shield of Sanctum is fine. Return of Law is literally the worst. It's basically useless unless you run ew Gragonith or the 1 Celestia and it prevents you from dropping the actually good bosses, namely JDs and Lightrays. LS Cross should only be a once per turn thing then. Also, fornicate JD and the Lightrays.

Lonk
You shouldn't fornicate your best cards IMO. I can, because they have no business of existing the way they do. They're all awfully designed and are in charge of restrictive design choices
StarKnightJacobs
last guy has it totally right. I've never trusted Lightsworns enough to use them, and I'd trust them even less if you can't use the only cards that can recycle them. Let's face it, since pot of avarice is banned, you need every card you can to reshuffle them, even I know that, and I've never used a self-milling deck in my life. Also, Never say fornicate Lightsworns again. It's insanely ironic considering Lightray Diabolos is literally the devil before he was the devil.
