This was actually a little set i created almost a year ago so its not new to me, however i never posted it on a forum before so its completely new to you guys. I didn't put as much work as you would think given the time i made this but i feel like i should post it now since i constantly checked to see how well they work with eachother. CnC is appreciated and welcome. [spoiler='Main Deck Monsters'] If you control no Spell/Trap Cards, you can discard 1 Spell Card; Special Summon this card (from your hand.) While this card is attached, as an Xyz material, to a Rank 1 Xyz monster that monster gains the following effect: "This card cannot be targeted by card effects". When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 level 1 monster from your graveyard in face-up attack position. That monsters effect(s) is negated and cannot be used as a Synchro material monster. While this card is attached, as an Xyz material, to a Rank 1 Xyz monster that monster gains the following effect: "When this card destroys an opponents monster by battle; Inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monsters level x 200" Cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card is flipped face-up you can target 1 "Mini Knight" monster, except "Mini Knight - Aegis Knight" in your graveyard; Add that target to your hand. When this card is attached to a Rank 1 Xyz monster as an Xyz material, that monster gains the following effect: "Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not destroyed." During your Main Phase 1, If you control no Spell/Trap cards or Monsters, and your opponent controls a Monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand) in face-up defense position. If you do, you can target 1 Spell or Trap card on the field; destroy it. You can only Summon 1 "Mini Knight - Aggro Knight" per turn. When this card is attached to a Rank 1 Xyz monster as an Xyz material that monster gains the following effect: "When this card destroys an opponents monster by battle, gain ATK equal to the battle damage dealt." When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can add 1 "Mini Knight" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Mini Knight - Guardian Knight". During either player's turn: If this card is in your graveyard and the effect of a Spell, Trap, or Effect monster's effect activates, you can banish this card from your graveyard; Negate that effect. You can only use this effect of "Mini Knight - Guardian Knight" once per turn, and only if you have another "Mini Knight" monster in your Graveyard, except "Mini Knight - Guardian Knight". If this card is attached to a rank 1 Xyz monster as an Xyz material, that monster gains the following effect: "Once only, when your opponent activates a card or effect you can negate the effect".[/spoiler] [spoiler='Support (Spells/Traps)'] You can target 1 face-up Rank 1 Xyz monster you control with 3 or more Xyz materials attached to it. Return that target to the Extra Deck and destroy all cards on the field, then you can Special Summon 1 level 1 monster from your graveyard in face-up Attack position. You cannot Xyz Summon the turn you activate this effect. Target 1 Xyz monster on the field, detach 1 Xyz material from that monster and target 1 card on the field; Send that target to the bottom of it's owners deck and the owner draws 1 card. You can only activate 1 "Mini Knight - Jesters Assault" per turn and you cannot Special Summon a monster, except level 1 monsters, the turn you activate this effect. If you control a Rank 1 Xyz monster with no Xyz materials attached to it. and your opponent controls an Xyz, Synchro, Fusion, or Ritual monster you can target that monster; its ATK becomes 0 and its effect is negated. During any of your End Phases if this card is in your graveyard, except during the turn you activated this card's effect, you can banish this card in your graveyard, Add 1 "Mini Knight - Mini Match" from your deck to your hand. You can only activate 1 "Mini Knight - Mini Match" per turn.[/spoiler] [spoiler='Extra Deck / Boss Monsters'] 2 level 1 "Mini Knight" monsters This card loses 300 ATK and DEF for each Xyz material attached to this card. Once per turn, if the effect of an Effect Monster's effect activates on the field and you control no Spell or Trap cards you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card; Negate the effect and destroy that card. When this card on the field is destroyed and sent to the graveyard you can Special Summon 1 "Mini Knight" monster from your deck in face-up attack position. Destroy it during the End Phase. 3 level 1 monsters This card loses 500 ATK and DEF for each Xyz material attached to this card. While this card has a Xyz material attached to it, this card cannot be destroyed by card effects. During each of your End Phases detach 1 Xyz material from this card. If this card has no Xyz materials attached to it, it gains this following effect: Once per turn, you can target 1 card on the field; Destroy that target. 3 level 1 "Mini Knight" monsters This card loses 400 ATK and DEF for each Xyz material attached to this card. This card inflicts Piercing Battle Damage. When this card is Xyz Summoned you can target 1 level 1 monster in your graveyard; Special Summon that monster in face-up Attack position. It cannot attack your opponent directly, its original ATK becomes 2000, it inflicts Piercing Battle Damage, and it cannot be targeted by card effects. It cannot be used for the Summon of another monster. If that monster is not face-up on your side of the field during your End Phases, detach 1 Xyz material from this card. If this card is destroyed, destroy the Special Summoned monster. 4 level 1 monsters This card loses 1000 ATK and DEF for each Xyz material attached to this card. This card can attack a number of your opponents monsters equal to the number of "Mini Knight" Xyz materials attached to this Xyz monster +1. This card cannot attack your opponent directly. This card inflicts Piercing Battle Damage. If this card would be destroyed, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card instead. Kitsuneko Posted November 27, 2013 Report Share Posted November 27, 2013 Guardian Knight is powerful as all hell and way too broken, and its Graveyard effect can be used by any deck (just go with a foolish burial, and boom! Solemn Judgement that doesn't cost half your lifepoints!). I recommend a few things to fix this... 1. Make it so that the effect only works if you have another Mini-Knight monster in your Graveyard, except for Guardian Knight. This way, this effect can't be splashable on any deck out there. In addition, it also slows Guardian Knight down, making its effect more balanced. 2. Make its effect only negate, but not destroy. This way, it can't insta pop a monster like a ticking solemn judgement. 3. It searches too many things. I recommend you change the text so that it can only search monsters. It's other effect is already too good as is, regardless. 4. A few OCG errors, including capitalization (Graveyard and Deck are capitalized), as well as punctuation. So overall... I'd change the text to this... When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can add 1 "Mini Knight" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Mini Knight - Guardian Knight". During either player's turn: If this card is in your graveyard and the effect of a Spell, Trap, or Effect monster's effect activates, you can banish this card from your graveyard; Negate that effect. You can only use this effect of "Mini Knight - Guardian Knight" once per turn, and only if you have another "Mini Knight" monster in your Graveyard, except "Mini Knight - Guardian Knight". If this card is attached to a rank 1 Xyz monster as an Xyz material, that monster gains the following effect: "Once only, when your opponent activates a card or effect you can negate the effect". The other cards seem alright. The boss monsters seem interesting, but without testing these cards out in a duel we can't say for sure if they're balanced or not. I've worked on so many cards that i'm going to post in the near-future that it completely slipped off my mind that you can just splash it in any deck (despite me looking at it LITERALLY like 50 times before posting this). Appreciated it that you told me about it. EDIT: Fixed the approriate changes based on your suggestion, also i nerfed Mini Knight - Divinity Knight because i feel like he might be too strong after taking another look at him.
