Raigeki Break

Because Dragon Rulers exist, of course. The discard for it is negligible since discarding a Dragon Ruler or even a material for their ss isn’t much of a cost, also it is very versatile being able to pop some annoying cards like Mind/Soul Drain, Vanity’s Emptiness or Crimson Blader.

Because it deals with the cards PWWB doesn't - Normal Summon monsters and Continuous Traps.

Then why not just have MST for the second one?

And for Normal Summon Monsters, Trap Hole? xD

Me being me, I just don't like cards that make you discard another card. That gets tedious when you like to make plays and then have no cards in you hand. Even Herald of Orange Light is turning on me for that reason.

You've obviously never run Evilswarm and G2 the opponent opens Consecrated Light. MST is more valid, but Break has the flexibility to hit non-backrow, and running 2 cards to suupplement one isn't so hot.

Yeah, I realized the whole "2 card thing" was a potential flaw in my argument.

And I hate Evilswarms completely, so I've never run them.

There are certain single cards against Dragons that if they hit the field Dragons have a good chance of losing the game. Break/PWWB help to deal with these threats, and if said threat is gone from the field they're probably free to go on and win the game. It's far more versatile than MST and the cost is negligible anyway.

PWWB?

I don't remember this card being good. Maybe because I played in the plants era where anything below a -0 was considered bad. Or I just have a bad memory. But I do like the card. It can be somewhat beneficial for dumping graveyard oriented cards like Dandylion and whatnot.

Phoenix Wing Wind Blast. AKA Raigeki Break that spins to the top of Deck, rather than destroy.

That era is long dead. Now days you can gain so much advantage that the negative effects of cards like this, PWWB, and Divine Wrath are negligable.

Sure, there are some cards that you don't want your opponent topdecking, but I feel that PWWB is overall a better choice.

I'd be inclined to agree with you because Dragons can just flip their PWWB on the Iron Wall/whatever in their turn and then go off and make it irrelevant if they're then topping into Iron Wall. The same goes for Prophecy and Mistake/Thunder King.

I'd probably main PWWB and side Raigeki Break for Bujin. Pop a set, make Emptiness die with it, go in.
