-Noel-
well since there is some contest requiring an archetype/series support, so i run through my old cards and found the interesting one, Penguin Soldier and the Great Emperor Penguin, so here's my card that support it! Lore: When this card is Normal Summoned, if you control no other face-up monsters: You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Penguin" monster from your Deck in face-up Attack Position or face-down Defense Position. Once per turn: You can target 1 "Penguin" monster you control; until the End Phase, this card's Level becomes the current Level of that monster. with this, Penguins are now access to both generic lv 8 Sync and R4 Xyz (and some of unique monsters for them that i created, here) all Cnc welcome
JACMaker
It is interesting to see someone, no pun intended, using Penguins as an archetype. I see a few OCG errors, but this is good job. I think I am going to check out more of your stuff.
When this card is Normal Summoned and you control no other face-up monsters: You can Tribute this card; Special Summon from your Deck 1 "Penguin" monster in face-up Attack Position or face-down Defense Position. -Noel-
how can I forgot to capitalize Tribute XD will fix that as soon as possible, but other parts are already corrected imo (the level part come from Mythic Tree, in addition, u should list either Original or Current for something like this, and about Normal Summoned, it's unusual to use Summoned clause w/o "this card" (though, some old cards may used)) and ty very much for a feedback
JACMaker
In my mind, current is implied (like Gagaga Girl) and original should be stated when needed. I know Judgment of the Light came out in August of 2013 containing Star Eater and his effect has, "When Synchro Summoned," which does not have, "this card is," in it. I am happy to provide you with feedback anytime.
-Noel-
that's because Star Eater's eff are about when it's Synchro Summoning (card and effect cannot activated only applies at that time, and have nothing to do after it successfully summoned) but for other monsters (including mine), "When this card is --- Summoned:" is use to state the effect that will happen if this card is Successfully summoned that way, and about Level changing part, I check for another card, and the card i checked, Umbral Horror Will o' the Wisp also said current Level, and both card are released after Gagaga girl
JACMaker
Star Eater is successfully Summoned without needing the text, "this card is," in his effect. I did some research on it and found a great article. I provided a link in the breakdown. As for, "current," your right, but I still think it should be implied like ATK and original ATK. Though, I can see some players getting confused when cards like Galaxy Queen's Light come into play.
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters Must be Synchro Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card's Synchro Summon cannot be negated. When Synchro Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. If this card attacks, it is unaffected by other card effects until the end of the Damage Step.
You can only Special Summon Star Eater with a Synchro Summon, but beyond that, there are no restrictions on it. You can use any Tuner and non-Tuners you like. And, unlike most other high-Level Synchro Monsters, you can Summon Star Eater using only two monsters!
https://yugiohblog.konami.com/articles/?p=5314

Star Eater has three levels of protection. First, its Summon cannot be negated, so it’s safe from Solemn Judgment and Solemn Warning. Even Thunder King Rai-Oh is forced to stand by and watch, helpless.
https://yugiohblog.konami.com/articles/?p=5314

Next, no cards or effects can be activated when Star Eater is successfully Summoned. That means no Bottomless Trap Hole or Torrential Tribute. Be aware though, Star Eater doesn’t discriminate – you also won’t be able to use effects in response to its Summon, so your own cards like Dandylion or T.G. Hyper Librarian won’t be activate. Of course, you could use that to your advantage with Black Garden… but that’s another topic entirely.
https://yugiohblog.konami.com/articles/?p=5314

Star Eater’s final level of protection comes during the Battle Phase. Whenever Star Eater attacks, it becomes unaffected by any card effects until the end of the Damage Step! That keeps it safe from Dimensional Prison and other attack-response cards, but there’s more to it than that. Star Eater is also free to attack cards like D.D. Assailant or Exploder Dragon without fear of reprisal.
https://yugiohblog.konami.com/articles/?p=5314

-Noel-
ok mb there, i should explain what i said clearly, Star Eater's eff doesn't start a chain (this is what i said "nothing to do after it summoned") after it successfully summoned, unlike the other cards that listed "When this card is --- Summoned:" which will start a chain (and this is what i said "happen")
JACMaker
Oh yeah, it's an effect that summons and not a build-in summon. My bad. Still, I feel, "this card is," is not needed as the true difference between the two are effects that summons have a colon ( : ) and/or a semicolon ( ; ) in the text. While build-in summons use the comma ( , ) in text.
