They're essentially a chain of Xyz's, Starting at Rank 2, that are designed to summon out the next, more powerful one using Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force. (Again, based off the New Orders.) They are all EARTH and Machine-Type, Their DEF is always half their ATK, and their ATK can be found by the following: The first digit of their ATK is equal to half their Rank, while the second digit is equal to double of the first digit, however the total of the second digit does not affect the value of the first. (E.g a Rank 2 would have 1200 ATK, a Rank 6 would have 3600 ATK, wheras a Rank 10 would have 5000 instead of the expected 6000.) The chain is typically better to be started at N.U.M 2, as it is able to search for Rank-Up-Magic Astral, via its effect. However, The chain can also be started at NUM 4, however one would have to delay to get Astral. The aim of these cards is to summon NUM 14, which is a Rank-14, by use of Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force. (Astral force can only summon monsters 2 Ranks higher, while in the Anime it's either one or two levels.) [spoiler="NUM 2"] New Upgrade Machine 2: Brass Bearing Rank 2 2 Level 2 Monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Add 1 Spell Card from your deck to your hand. [/spoiler][spoiler="NUM 4"] New Upgrade Machine 4: Brass Cog Rank 4 2 Level 4 Monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material to target 1 monster on the field that has a level: Destroy it, and if you do, the owner Special Summons 1 monster from their deck with the same Level as the destroyed monster. [/spoiler][spoiler="NUM 6"] New Upgrade Machine 6: Brass Stabilizer Rank 6 2 Level 6 Monsters Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 monster on the field that has a Level: That monster looses ATK equal to its Level x 200, and if it does; This card gains an equal amount of ATK. These changes last until your next Standby Phase. [/spoiler][spoiler="NUM 8"] New Upgrade Machine 8: Brass Module Rank 8 2 Level 8 Monsters Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1: You can detach 1 Xyz Material to target 1 monster each player controls; Those monsters cannot attack, also their effects are negated. These changes last until your second Standby Phase after activating this effect. [/spoiler][spoiler="NUM 10"] New Upgrade Machine 10: Brass Instrumentation Rank 10 2 Level 10 Monsters Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Monster attached to this card as an Xyz Material. During the End Phase of this turn, all monsters Special Summoned this way are attached to this card as Xyz Materials. [/spoiler][spoiler="NUM 12"] New Upgrade Machine 12: Brass Mechanism Rank 12 2 Level 12 Monsters This card with Xyz Materials cannot be destroyed by Card Effect. Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Neither player can conduct their Battle Phase, until your next Standby Phase. [/spoiler][spoiler="NUM 14"] New Upgrade Machine 14: Brass Photoelectric Shield Rank 14 Must be Special Summoned by the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. This card with Xyz Material cannot be targeted by Spell/Trap cards, or by card effects. This card gains 200 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; equip 4 cards from the top of your opponents deck to this card as Xyz Material. Hell I'd probably find a way to fit Level 2's in about in deck I play just to get a free search for any Spell... number 4 - So I can get rid of a problem monster my opponent has but in exchange let them get it right back out or something even worse? number 6 - dat attack number 8 - nada number 10 - so basically a free 5k plus whatever I use to summon it... number 12 - what's up with you and stand-by phases? why not just till your next turn? And on top of that if I got a 6k+ monster on why on earth would i worry about skipping battle phase when I could attack for mostly likely game? number 14 - never used any RUM card so idk.. Not to mention getting these out is easy for their broken effects. Should probably be moved to "Any Other Cards" section. @DysonSlinky It is well known that a lot of users here use Duel Masters art for the Customs because it is good, easy to find, and not Yugioh.
