2 Level 4 "Vylon" monsters
When this card is Xyz Summoned: Add 1 "Vylon" Spell Card from your deck or graveyard to your hand. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card to target 1 "Vylon" monster in your graveyard: Equip that target to this card; This card gains ATK equal to half the combined ATK of the equipped monsters. If this card would be destroyed, you can destroy 1 Equip Card equipped to this card instead.

I've used the art of vylon alpha since the greek letter on his back resembles the "Lambda" letter (Like an upside down V) much better.

all i know about vylon is their an all plant arch type, so this card really doesn't fit, does it?

well let's see, I'll use Lonefire summon Vylon Prism out, then just set the Wall of Thorns, yea same question to guardianfire, y I should Xyz into this while I can keep those plants for the sake of Wall?

* anyone heard my laughing now will probably think I'm mad...*

NONE of the Vylons are plants. I've played the deck at tournaments-

http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Vylon

From the wiki: "are all LIGHT-Attribute, and are either FairyMachine, or (in one caseThunder-type."

As for the card it is very nice and balanced but the only problem is that the only level 4 vylons aren't that easy to summon without using up card advantage in the process. The only widely played Vylon that is level 4 is Prism, the rest are optional since they don't support the win condition of the deck (Vylon Loop). However, there are different builds such as Epsilon Control which uses more level 4s to combo with prism and make Epsilon at 3800 ATK and protect him with Vylon Segment ETC.

Overall a good card but I would only run 1 in my build of the deck since mine focuses on the Element Loop and synchros over exceeds.

This would have relatively low ATK under most circumstances. Hept, the strongest non-Synchro, only grants 900. Add Material for 2500. You could grab a dead Prism for 3350, but this is mainly a strong defensive card. Your opponent has to kill it three times the first and second turn, and then two times every turn thereafter since Vylon Equip Spells all search each other.

I do not think there are enough good Level 4 Vylons to support this. Prism and Ohm are good; Hept is passable if kinda useless. The main problem is speed. It's not easy to get 2 Level 4 Vylons on the field and one in the Graveyard for the activation.
