DarksiedWarrior
[attachment=40719:createcard (6).jpg] Hey guys, this is my first try at a deck archetype, but here it is. This deck centers around restricting the attacking of enemy monsters, activation of spells and traps and tributing your lower level monsters, the "Prisoners", to summon your higher ups, the "Wardens", and using their effects to keep your opponent pinned.I call it the "Eternal Prison" archetype. CnC is well appreciated. Also, if any one could think of or find or even do some art, because I cant draw or find the art I'm looking for all the time (as you'll see in a bit). Updates coming soon. [attachment=40720:createcard (1).jpg] First and only trap currently. [attachment=40721:createcard (2).jpg] One of the "Warden" cards. There is going to be one for Spells, monsters and some specific ones too. [attachment=40722:createcard (5).jpg] Like I said, not always easy to find a goblin prisoner that falls in line with standard YGO goblin art style, so I just put this in as a temporary replacement picture. But anyway, here's just one of the many "Prisoner" cards. All of them, so far planed, have effects that are activated on destruction that attempt to find cards in your deck or keep the opponent from fighting back. Well, that's about it, thanks everyone. Akron The Void Lord
Seems very interesting, from my point of view. But from over here, i see a few similarities to my Dark Nebula deck... No offense meant.
DarksiedWarrior
Seems very interesting, from my point of view. But from over here, i see a few similarities to my Dark Nebula deck... No offense meant. None taken, but I've looked at your nebula deck, and it looks quite a bit different from my idea for this deck. Your deck relies on getting "Dark Nebula" onto the field so your monsters can dominate the battlefield, but my deck is all about keeping the opponent from doing anything but the most basic of actions, then wailing on them with your "Warden" monsters. The spells focus on restricting opponents or destroying with a cost.

Oh, in that case, I suppose. Yes, "Eternal Prison" is quite important to the deck. You were right, and I appologize for correcting you.
Delibirb
"uses field spell" is not a notable similarity. Lots of archetypes - existing and custom - use and rely on a central field spell. This field isnt even that necessary, as opposed to the Dark Nebulas which literally require it to do anything. On to relevant things, the deck concept of a lockdown-focused archetype is one I have poked at myself, and find very interesting. However, a few nitpicks on what is here right now: Eternal Prison doesn't state for how long targeted monster can't attack, and if there isn't supposed to be a limit, that's quite OP. The Trap card's burn seems a bit too much, I would change it to half the attacking monster's ATK, or some flat amount ~1000 or so. There are OCG issues but I'm not in the mood to repair them at the moment; I'm sure someone else will.
