evilfusion
Because galaxy zero turns the monster useless, if it didnt prevent you from activating effs then i would say this card would be good, but at the moment i only run one, the reason i said cloud dragon would replace it is because, if i want searcheable revival, i want that revival to make the most of my monster, not just semi useful, like galaxy zero does. plus, what is the interest in reviving photon monsters? all they are used is to sommon galaxy eyes, which is a galaxy monster, so, if photons are in grave, that means they were used to sommon a galaxy monster, so no interest in bringing them back whem i can bring GEPD back. I agree that what Cloud Dragon does is superior to Galaxy Zero, due to all of Zero's restrictions. But I disagree that it will REPLACE Zero. The two are much more likely to be used in tangent. Special Summoning Photon Monsters is not the key to Galaxy Zero. Reviving Photon OR Galaxy monsters with Zero, however, is important. Cloud Dragon can only Special Summon "Galaxy-Eyes" monsters. While this means easy access to Photon Dragon from both hand or Graveyard, it doesn't give you access to Photon Thrasher or Galaxy Wizard if you need to make a Rank 4, such as 101, Exciton, Starliege, whatever in a pinch, and it doesn't give you access to Galaxy Knight, which is a very good Level 8 monster. Cloud will also use up your Normal Summon, which can restrict your plays if you have Galaxy Knight or Galaxy Wizard in hand. Galaxy Zero can revive a Galaxy-Eyes/Knight/whatever, and then you Normal Summon Knight to revive a Galaxy-Eyes. Cloud Dragon is also dead in the hand if you have not drawn or used Galaxy-Eyes already. While this is a problem for most of the Galaxy cards, but Zero still has use for the aforementioned Rank 4 plays. All in all, Zero is a card that is just amazing with combo pieces that you're running anyway, such as Expedition and Galaxy Knight. Cloud Dragon is more standalone, and while it has the same potential for combos, the Normal Summon is a critical component in how many combo options you have. Cloud > Zero as a standalone card. Zero > Cloud when it comes to combos and other big plays. You should use them both, not one over the other.
