Where there's White, there will always be Black (Red-Eyes Archetype) (5/?)

Hello all. I decided to take a crack at another set (or rather, Ain did mostly, almost all credit honestly belongs to him, I just threw some basic ideas out and he brought them to form). I took one of my all-time favorite cards, and tried to give it some more use, since it's lighter counterpart has seen MUCH more love.

Without further ado, here is the set:
When a ''Red-Eyes'' monster you control is destroyed by your opponent's card: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is targeted by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect): You can banish this card, then Special Summon 1 ''Red-Eyes B. Dragon'' from your Graveyard. It cannot be targeted by card effects until the End Phase.

During either player's turn: You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard; face-up Level 7 or higher monsters you control with ''Red-Eyes'' in their name are unaffected by your opponent's Spell and Trap Card effects until the End Phase.

Once per turn: You can excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is a "Red-Eyes" monster, add it to your hand. Otherwise, place it on the bottom of your Deck. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, target 1 face-up Level 7 or higher "Red-Eyes" monster you control; it gains 500 attack, and cannot be destroyed by your opponents' card effects until the End Phase of your next turn.

This card is treated as "Red Eyes B.Dragon" while face-up on the field or in your Graveyard. When this card is summoned, change the level of all "Red-Eyes" monster you control to 7. When this card is destroyed (either by battle or card effect), you can Special Summon 1 "Red Eyes B. Dragon" from your hand.

When this card is activated, if you control no monsters: Special Summon 1 ''Red-Eyes B. Dragon'' from your hand or Deck in Attack Position. For the rest of the turn, you cannot Special Summon the turn you activate this effect. Once per turn, when a Level 7 or higher Dragon-Type monster you control with ''Red-Eyes'' in its name declares an attack: It gains 600 ATK and if it destroys a monster by battle; add 1 Level 7 or lower monster with ''Red-Eyes'' in its name from your Deck to your hand.
The Field Spell contradicts itself.

Phantasmal Dragon is a bit confusing.

When this card is targeted by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect)

Does then mean when it is attacked?

Acolyte is also somewhat weird.

Once per turn, you can reveal the top 3 cards of your deck, then add 1 "Red-Eyes" monster from them to your hand and shuffle the rest back to your deck.
What if you don't reveal a Red Eyes monster? It literally says you have to add one. Maybe have a drawback? This one is just me being picky though.

Overall they seem nicely done although some of the ATK boosts are mediocre but kinda needed.

I like how they are similar to Harpies and I must give credit to the hand trap. Simply marvelous.

Do you have a thought on how I can re-word that, then? It does come out kinda funny.

I thought targetting covered being selected by an attack as well, any thought on how I can properly word it for both instances?

Again, I overlooked that, another good catch. Maybe I'll give it an 'Allure Of Darkness" type clause? So if you don't reveal one, you toss them all.

Then hand trap was actually based off of Cardfight Vanguard, since they have some beautiful hand traps that really screw with your opponent :) I was proud of that baby.

A simple "for the rest of the turn" should suffice.

It may be covered but I am not familiar with it if it exists. If anything check out Maiden with Eyes of Blue.

No because this will only be played in decks that don't even run REBD. I don't know quite yet.

I'm starting to think I should watch CF!V =P

Did you miss my feedback on Acolyte? I mean it isn't bad, I guess.....considering Lightsworns....but something feels off about it. Maybe that you can do it during your MP as opposed to the EP?
