DarkGreyWing
So the Darkliege's are destined to Oppose the Lightsworn. Their effects are meant to directly counter them. If this card destroys a monster by battle: Shuffle 5 cards from your opponent's graveyard to the deck. If this card would be destroyed, shuffle it into your deck. If you take battle damage from a battle involving this card, return one card to your opponents deck for every 500 points of damage taken. If this card would be destroyed, shuffle it into your deck. If your opponent has 10 or less cards in the graveyard than you do, you can special summon this card from your hand. If you special summon this card this way, you can return all cards in both player's graveyards to the deck. If this card attacks a monster, you can shuffle it into the deck and end the battle phase. When this card is summoned, shuffle 3 cards from your opponent's graveyard to the deck. You can discard one card to return one card from your opponents graveyard to the deck. If this card would be destroyed, shuffle it into your deck. If a card is returned from the graveyard to the deck, you can special summon one "Darkliege Assassin" from your hand or deck. This card gains 100 ATK for each "Darkliege" monster in your graveyard. If this card would be destroyed, you can shuffle it into the deck instead. Up to twice per turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects. When this card is removed from play, special summon it, and return all cards in both players graveyards to the deck, then inflict damage to both players equal to the number of cards returned x100. You can shuffle 4 "Darkliege" monster from your graveyard to your deck to special summon this monster from your hand. If your opponent activates an effect that requires the payment of life points, negate that effect. If an effect is negated this way, you can use the effect during your next turn. Oriannis
Oooo. Very nice. I like how this deck kicks lightsworn where it hurts and prevents them from bringing out judgment dragon. Shuffling cards back into the deck is a great idea that keeps these cards balanced. I would Tone Dark executive down a bit or add another restriction to his summon because your could bring him out first turn. Furthermore, the flavor of this archetype is really good and the name creates a sense that it is meant to oppose lightsworn. great job overall! :D
Mighty Joe Young
Great idea, I like the concept a lot. These are the good things that really stand out to me: It shuffles your opponent's cards from their Graveyard to their deck, effectually rendering Lightsworn decks useless. Misjudement Wyvern's effect to negate and gain effects that require payment of Life Points. You can see how Darklieges are directly related to their Lightsworn counterpart, e.g. Misjudgement Wyvern and Judgment Dragon. The artwork and names work excellently, especially with the DARK theme. Some things that should be looked at (mostly effect wording): Darkliege Escort's special summon clause is not clear, my idea (not completely sure if this works): 'If the total amount of cards in your opponent's Graveyard is greater than the total amount of cards in your Graveyard by 10 or less, you can Special Summon this card from your hand.'? Also, Escort's attack effect doesn't specify which card can be shuffled into the deck (I assume you meant the card being attacked) For Darkliege Assassin's return effect, is the card to be returned from the opponent's Graveyard? All in all, an excellent idea. :)
