Airride
Place 1 A-Counter on all monsters Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field. (If a monster with an A-Counter battles an "Alien" monster, it loses 300 ATK and DEF for each A-Counter during damage calculation only.) This is probably one of THE best Alien cards, and hell, it's incredibly viable to make a deck around (At least, in casual), as it gives A-Counters actively through the opponent's turn, on BASICALLY anything they summon. It lets you use cards like Mysterious Triangle and Brainwashing Beam (A personal favorite of mine, though admittedly more vulnerable) as more disruptive cards, getting rid of an Opponent's monster while getting your own, especially helpful with Triangle. "But Airride/Yveltal!" I hear you cry. "Mysterious Triangle destroys your monster at the End phase! How is that helpful!?" Alien Ammonite. Enough Said. What if your Kid is about to die? You can always use Scatter Burst, Offering, or even Pollutant Virus if you're feeling up to it to either gain more advantage, or put more Counters on the field. And, once its in the grave by on of those, that added advantage helps with Ammonite, Which can bring up Gol'gar, who can use those counters to wreck shit as well as recycle continuous stuff (Such as Brainwashing beam, to never take away A-Counters, or Call to revive a bunch of stuff, or even Safe Zone for even more popping), or you can use Ancient Ruins to just revive it again...and still have some counters left over for a Gol'gar pop! Speaking of Call, you can use that during the opponent's turn to spring up a Kid when the opponent least expects it, adding more counters, and setting up for your nefarious ticks and deeds! I dunno, I'm tired, and I really like aliens. Discuss.
Zauls
Meh. Aliens have potential but they need some more good monsters for them to ever be really viable. This is one of the better ones, but it still a bit mediocre. It has low ATK and would need protection from anything bigger than it that is Normal Summoned. Seems pretty flimsy to me. Dog King
From what ive seen the only decent Aliens are Ammonite, Shocktrooper and Warrior.just because Ammonite summons lv4s and those are the only decent lv4s. I havent really seen an Alien make use of this or the other a-counters cards so idk much about this.
Solemn Silver
I mean, for 3 axis aliens mars + dog isn't bad, but it's outclassed imo by the 4 axis aliens :x
newhat
While there are no generic cards that straight-up outclass the A-Counter support, the low-Level Aliens have near-zero utility because their effects are so narrow.
