Shining Miracle

Normal Spell

While the only monster you control is 1 LIGHT monster: Target that monster; It gains 1500 ATK, and is unaffected by the opponent's card effects. These Changes last until the End Phase. During the End phase, if that Monster is face-up: Take damage equal to its original ATK. You cannot activate other monster effects or attack with monsters besides the target for the rest of the turn.

 

Worded VERY specifically. While it may lead to some OTK-ish shenanigans, with only being able to attack with the ONE monster (Albeit a powerful one), and disabling honest and other such things, it tones it down some.

...Still trying to figure out how to make it work with Emes (The card  thought of the idea for). Feh, whatever.

It would probably be pretty ok if BLS wasn't a thing. Then again the problem is BLS, not this. This is actually... quite costly and restrictive, for a slightly beefed up Ego Boost coupled with a brief Felgrand, but the problem here is that you're losing the monster at the end of the turn anyway. So it's a pretty niche OTK card that's otherwise too costly to deploy and will backfire if your opponent has responses that do not rely on hitting back at the attacking monster. I reckon it probably has uses that I haven't thought of but... still doesn't seem a worthy investment, either deckspace-wise or cost-wise. There's always things like Neo Tachyon but in those cases it's generally just overkill.

It's a Spaceship support card, more or less. Boosts them to an ACTUALLY respectable level (2700), and while it only lets you attack with that, it doesn't restrict you from summoning tokens, other ships (Falcion B ), or synchros/Xyz (Lightwave tuning/Tuners with Falcion, and Falcion)

Anything specific you might recommend to "Fix" it?

 

Fixing it is impossible. Any rendition that keeps the discard cost will simply make it a watered-down Attribute-specific Rising Energy -- any rendition that gets rid of that cost will still blanch at the losing field presence by the End Phase -- and no End-Phase banishing means there's nothing to restrain the card from being broken, because 1500 ATK boost.
