These are 2 sets that coincide, Divine Angel Warriors (the LIGHT archetype) and their counterparts, the Dark Angel Warriors (the DARK archetype). I wanted to introduce a new mechanic, Counter Trap Cards that are activated by being banished from the Graveyard. Both of these archetypes take advantage of that. There are a lot of cards so I sorted them as spoilers for convenience. Feel free to leave critique / suggestions. [spoiler=Divine Angel Warriors] [spoiler=Monsters] Lore:Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard. Based on the type of card sent to the Graveyard, this card gains one of the following effects: · Monster - This card gains 1000 ATK until the End Phase · Spell - This card can attack your opponent directly · Trap - This card can attack twice this turn Lore:This card cannot be destroyed by battle with a monster that has 2000 or more ATK. If you Tribute Summon a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster, you can send 1 Counter Trap Card from your hand the Graveyard to treat this 1 card as 2 Tributes. Lore:This card cannot be Special Summoned. Once per turn, when this card is targeted for an attack, you can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to negate the attack. If the sent card was a Counter Trap Card, destroy all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls. Lore:When this card is Summoned, you can send 1 Counter Trap Card from your hand to the Graveyard then add 1 Counter Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You cannot banish any cards the turn you activate this effect. Love:Once per turn, you can switch the ATK and DEF of this card. This effect can be used during your opponent's turn. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, it is switched to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. Lore:This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card can only be Normal Summoned or Set by Tributing 2 LIGHT Fairy-Type monsters. If you control another monster, this card is not destroyed by battle. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can send 1 Monster Card, 1 Spell Card and 1 Trap Card from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy every card your opponent controls. Banish this card during the End Phase of the turn this effect is used. Lore:When a "Nehemiah, Master Of The Divine" you control is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon the "Nehemiah, Master Of The Divine". Each time your opponent draws a card(s), place 1 Counter on this card (max. 3). During your Battle Phase you can remove each Counter from this card to have it gain 300 ATK for each Counter removed and this card's maximum number of attacks is equal to the number of Counters removed. Banish this card during the End Phase of the turn this effect is used. Lore:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by returning 3 of your banished Counter Trap Cards to your Deck. During your Battle Phase, you can send up to 3 cards from your hand to the Graveyard to have this card's maximum number of attacks be equal to the number of cards sent. Banish this card during the End Phase of the turn this effect is activated. Lore:3 Level 8 LIGHT Fairy-Type Monsters This card cannot be destroyed by battle. You take no Battle Damage from battles involving this card. When this face-up card battles an opponent's monster, before damage calculation, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to increase the ATK of this card by an amount equal to that monster's ATK until the End Phase. If this card has an Xyz Material attached, it cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Lore:If your opponent controls more monsters than you, this card can attack twice. Lore:Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can equip this card to "Jeremiah, Angel Of Combat" you control as an Equip Card, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this effect, that monster gains 500 ATK and DEF and before damage calculation, if it attacks a Defense Position monster: Destroy that monster. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead.) Lore:When the difference between both players' Life Points is 3000 or more, you can tribute this face-up card to Special Summon 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your hand or Graveyard. You cannot activate this card's effect while your Life Points are higher than your opponent's. Lore:When your opponent designates another LIGHT Fairy-Type monster you control as an attack target, you can pay 1000 Life Points; Increase the target's ATK by 500 until the End Phase. Lore:If your opponent controls more monsters than you, for each monster they control, this card requires 1 less Tribute for Tribute Summon. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. During your Draw Phase, you can discard 1 Counter Trap Card to return 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard to your hand instead of conducting your normal Draw Phase. Lore:You can banish 1 Counter Trap Card from your Graveyard to tribute this face-up card; Special Summon 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard with 2000 ATK or less. [/spoiler][spoiler=Spells] Lore:Target 1 Level 4 or lower LIGHT Fairy-Type monster you control. This turn, the targeted monster can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each, and if it attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. It is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase, and its battle position cannot be changed until the End Phase of your next turn. Lore:Neither player can declare an attack. You must Tribute 1 monster during your End Phase. If you do not, banish this card. Lore:Once per turn when a non-DARK monster you control is destroyed by battle, you can discard 1 Counter Trap Card to Special Summon the destroyed monster in face-up Defense Position. Its Battle Position cannot be changed, and it is banished when it leaves the field. Lore:You can only equip this card to a Level 3 or lower LIGHT monster you control. The equipped monster cannot be destroyed by battle when battling monsters with 2000 ATK or more. (Damage calculation is applied normally.) You can discard 1 Counter Trap Card to Tribute the equipped monster and Special Summon 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard. This effect can be activated during either player's turn. Lore:You can only activate this card when you control no monsters. Special Summon as many Level 4 or lower LIGHT Fairy-Type monsters from your hand as possible. You cannot Normal Summon or Set the turn you activate this card. Lore:Discard up to 3 Counter Trap Cards. Special Summon Level 4 or lower LIGHT Fairy-Type monsters from your Graveyard equal to the number of discarded cards. The Summoned monsters cannot attack your opponent directly and are destroyed during your End Phase. Lore:Discard up to 3 Counter Trap Cards. Special Summon Level 4 or lower LIGHT Fairy-Type monsters from your Graveyard equal to the number of discarded cards. The Summoned monsters cannot attack your opponent directly and are destroyed during your End Phase. Lore:You can only equip this card to "Nehemiah, Master Of The Divine". When this card is successfully equipped, destroy 1 card your opponent controls. If "Nehemiah, Master Of The Divine" would be removed from the field by an opponent's card effect, you can send 1 Counter Trap Card from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy this card instead. Lore:Send 1 face-up "First Prayer" you control to the Graveyard; Return all Counter Trap Cards in your Banished Zone to your Deck. Special Summon 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your hand whose Level is less than or equal to the number of Counter Trap Cards returned to your Deck with this card's effect. Lore:Discard 1 Trap Card from your hand. If the discarded card was a Counter Trap Card, banish 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster you control. Select 5 random cards from your Graveyard. Each LIGHT Fairy-Type monster selected is Special Summoned ignoring the Summoning conditions (other monsters are banished). Each Spell Card selected is returned to your hand and cannot be activated until the next End Phase. Each Trap Card selected is returned to your Deck. You cannot declare an attack the turn this card is activated. Lore:Return 1 "Guardian Seraph", "Guardian Wingman", and "Guardian Brightwing" from your side of the field, hand, or Graveyard to your Deck. Special Summon 1 "Impact Knight" from your Extra Deck and attach this card to it as an XYZ Material. This Special Summon is treated as an XYZ Summon.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Traps] Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from your Graveyard. When a monster would be Summoned, OR when a Spell Card, Trap Card, or monster effect is activated that includes an effect that Special Summons a monster(s): Pay half your Life Points; Tribute 1 face-up Level 5 or higher Fairy-Type monster you control. Special Summon 1 "Nehemiah, Master of the Divine" from your Deck or Graveyard. This Summon cannot be negated. Lore:Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Its Level and Attribute become the same as 1 face-up LIGHT Fairy-Type monster you control. This turn, if you Tribute a monster, you must Tribute that monster as if you controlled it. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn this card is activated. Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from the Graveyard. When a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster you control is destroyed, you can Special Summon 2 "Angel Tokens" (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) with an ATK and DEF equal to half of the destroyed monster's respective ATK and DEF. These tokens cannot be used for a Synchro Summon, and cannot be used as Tributes except for the Tribute Summon of a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster. Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from the Graveyard. When your opponent selects one of your face-up Fairy-type monsters as an attack target, return the targeted monster to your hand and Special Summon 1 LIGHT Fairy-type monster from your hand (except the returned monster). Your opponent must attack the Summoned monster. The Summoned monster returns to your hand during the End Phase if it was not destroyed, and the returned monster is Special Summoned from your hand in Defense Position. Lore:Discard 1 card. Select 1 of your banished Counter Trap Cards. The effect of this card becomes the selected card's effect. Banish this card after its effect resolves. Lore:When a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster you control is destroyed, you can banish from your Graveyard, a number of Counter Trap Cards equal to the Level of the destroyed monster. Draw 1 card for each card banished by this effect. Skip your next Draw Phase. Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from the Graveyard. When a card effect activates, you can banish 1 "Nehemiah, Master of the Divine" you control to negate the effect of the card and inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. Special Summon the banished monster during the End Phase. Lore:You must discard 1 card to activate this card. After activation, this card is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Fairy-Type/Light/Level 4/ATK 2000/DEF 0), and is Special Summoned to your Monster Card Zone. (This card is also still treated as a Trap Card.) When this card is destroyed, you can Normal Summon 1 Level 5 or higher LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your hand without Tribute. Lore:When your opponent declares an attack, target 1 face-up LIGHT Fairy-Type monster you control. Equip this card to that target. It gains 1000 ATK when battling a monster with higher ATK. When a monster equipped with this card destroys a monster by battle, you can discard 1 Counter Trap Card to draw 1 card. Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from the Graveyard. When you take Battle Damage, or a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster you control is destroyed, you can discard 1 Counter Trap Card to draw 2 cards OR add 2 cards from your Graveyard to your hand. Skip your next Draw Phase. Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from your Graveyard. When a face-up "Nehemiah, Master Of The Divine" you control is destroyed by battle, pay Life Points so that you only have 100 left; Special Summon the destroyed "Nehemiah, Master Of The Divine". It gains ATK and DEF equal to the amount of Life Points paid. Your opponent must attack the Summoned monster with each monster they control once each. During the End Phase of the turn this card is activated, send all cards you control and in your hand to the Graveyard. You cannot activate other card effects during the turn this card is activated. Lore:You can only activate this card when your opponent declares an attack. Select 1 face-up LIGHT Fairy-Type monster on your side of the field. During this turn, your opponent can only designate the selected monster as an attack target. Lore:Once per turn when your opponent declares an attack or activates a card effect that destroys your monster(s), you can discard 1 Counter Trap Card to send 1 Fairy-type monster from your Deck to your Graveyard to negate the attack or effect. Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from the Graveyard. When a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster you control is selected as an attack target, negate the attack. Then, you can discard 1 card to destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls. Lore:When a DARK Fairy-Type monster you control is destroyed, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster with 2000 ATK or less from your Graveyard. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster you control and 1 DARK Fairy-Type monster in your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your hand ignoring the Summoning conditions. The Summoned monster cannot attack your opponent directly. [/spoiler][/spoiler] [spoiler=Dark Angel Warriors] [spoiler=Monsters] Lore:If "Guardian Brightwing" is in your Graveyard this card is not destroyed by battle. If "Guardian Brightwing" is face-up on the field, destroy this card. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can destroy 1 card on the field. After that, draw 1 card. Based on the card's type, apply 1 of the following effects (This card cannot attack the turn this effect is used.): · Monster: Your opponent discards 1 random card. · Spell: Discard 1 card from your hand. · Trap: Inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. Lore:If this card is face-up on the field, DARK Fairy-Type monsters are unaffected by the effects of Spell Cards. When the difference between both players' Life Points is 3000 or more, you can Tribute this face-up card to Special Summon 1 DARK Fairy-Type monster from your hand or Deck ignoring the Summoning conditions. You cannot activate this effect while your Life Points are higher than your opponent's. Lore:Control of this face-up card cannot switch. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can banish 1 Counter Trap Card from your Graveyard to target 1 face-up Level 4 or lower non-DARK Fairy-Type monster your opponent controls and take control of it until the End Phase. You cannot declare an attack the turn you activate this effect. Lore:If "Guardian Seraph" is in your Graveyard, your opponent cannot select another monster you control as an attack target. If "Guardian Seraph" is face-up on the field, destroy this card. When a face-up "Haimehen, The Dark Master" is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can discard this card to Special Summon the destroyed "Haimehen, The Dark Master". Lore:You can Special Summon this card from your hand by discarding 1 Fairy-Type monster. If "Guardian Wingman" is in your Graveyard, this card can attack all of your opponent's monster's once each, and when this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. If "Guardian Wingman" is face-up on the field, destroy this card. Lore:You can Tribute this card to add 2 Counter Trap cards from your Deck to your hand. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can banish 1 Trap Card from your Graveyard to Special Summon this card. If the banished card was a Counter Trap Card, destroy 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Lore:3 Level 8 DARK Fairy-Type Monsters This card gains 1000 ATK for each of your banished Counter Trap Cards. When this card is targeted by your opponent's card effect, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to return 1 of your banished Counter Trap Cards to your Graveyard and negate the effect. If this card has an XYZ Material attached, it cannot be destroyed by battle or by the effects of LIGHT Monsters. Lore:You can Special Summon this card from your hand if you control only DARK monsters. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, destroy 1 card on the field. Then, banish 1 Counter Trap Card from your Graveyard. Lore:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by returning 3 of your banished Trap Cards to your Deck. This card gains 200 ATK for each banished Trap Card. If there are no Trap Cards in your Banished Zone, this card cannot be destroyed by the effects of LIGHT monsters. Lore:If this card destroys an opponent's monster, inflict 300 Damage to your opponent and decrease the ATK of this card by 200. During the turn that this card is destroyed, you can activate the effect of 1 Counter Trap Card in your Banished Zone. Lore:If "Nehemiah, Master Of The Divine" is in your Graveyard, once per turn, when your opponent activates a card effect, you can Tribute 1 other DARK Fairy-Type monster you control or banish 1 Counter Trap Card from your Graveyard to negate the effect. You must also tribute DARK Fairy-Type monsters from your field whose total Levels equal 10 or more. Pick up the top 5 cards of your Deck. Any DARK Fairy-Type monsters picked up are Special Summoned ignoring the Summoning conditions (other monsters are banished). Any Spell Cards picked up cannot be activated until the End Phase. Any Trap Cards picked up are sent to the Graveyard. You cannot declare an attack the turn you activate this card. Lore:This card can only be activated when you control no monsters. The Summoned monster gains 300 ATK, and cannot be destroyed by the effects of DARK monsters until the End Phase. Lore:You cannot activate this card if you control a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster OR if there are Counter Trap Cards in your Banished Zone. When your opponent destroys a DARK Fairy-Type monster you control, banish 4 Counter Trap Cards from your Graveyard. Then, Special Summon 1 "Haimehen, The Dark Master" from your hand. Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from the Graveyard. When you take damage, discard 2 cards from your hand to discard 2 cards from your opponent's hand OR banish 2 cards in your opponent's Graveyard. You can send 1 card in your hand to the Graveyard to return this banished card to your Deck. Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from the Graveyard. When your opponent activates a Spell or Trap Card while you control a face-up DARK Fairy-Type monster, negate the effect and inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. You can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to return this card to your Deck. Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from the Graveyard. When your opponent declares an attack, banish up to 3 Counter Trap Cards from your Graveyard. Then, Special Summon DARK Fairy-Type monsters from your Graveyard in face-up Attack Position equal to the number of cards banished with this card's effect. Destroy the Summoned monsters during the End Phase. Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from the Graveyard. When your opponent declares an attack, Tribute 1 Fairy-Type monster then Special Summon 1 DARK Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard. The Summoned monster has its effect negated and is destroyed during the End Phase. Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from the Graveyard. When you take battle damage, discard any number of cards. Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower DARK Fairy-Type Monsters from your Deck with an ATK equal to or less than the number of cards you discarded with this card's effect x 1000. Lore:Tribute 1 Level 5 or higher LIGHT monster you control. Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower DARK monster from your Graveyard. That monster's effect is negated. Lore:Discard 1 Counter Trap Card and 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster. Target 1 DARK Fairy-Type monster in your Graveyard and Special Summon it. Once per turn, when the targeted monster would be destroyed, you can banish 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard instead. When the Summoned monster is removed from the field, destroy this card. When this card is destroyed, banish the Summoned monster. You cannot Special Summon any other monsters while you control this card. Lore:This card can only be activated by banishing it from the Graveyard. When your opponent declares an attack, negate it and send 1 card from your Deck to the Graveyard. If the sent card was a Counter Trap Card, return this card to your Deck.
