The Embodiments of Crime and Punishment

Xyz with tokens? lol

100% sure

although it would be nice *shot*

Dustons and Rainbow Piper works nice

Rainbow Piper is revolved around Kinka-Byo, Mystic Piper, and Ghostrick Level 1s (maybe a 3 or two) and some Rainbow Kuriboh thrown in.

OK, anything else to use, like protecting the level 1 monsters long enough to summon both cards to the field?

I use Dustons as my primary deck, and making Number 13 and 31 are very easy with them, trust me.

If you want a gist of how Dustons look/work, you can either check out my thread showcasing my Duston deck here, or look me up on DN with the same username as on here.

Any room in there for XYZ Override and a few other traps?

Potentially yeah. If you are more focused on the Xyz plays than anything, (and I sense you are) then you could potentially drop the Goblin Kings and Opti-Camouflage armors for some space. I would suggest keeping at least 2 Stardustons, just in case you can only get 3 Dustons to your side and be unable to make the 13/31 duo.

Basically there is a lot you can trim around based on personal preference and personal deck goal.

Also Wilflame is right in that Ghostricks are superior for general Rank 1-ness, but as she said Dustons are a bit better at these two specifically, and also for lockdown/burn playstyles as alternatives.

If I'm ever up against a deck with strong cards, which I know I will be, I want to make sure my opponents know the true meaning of Crime and Punishment, so I plan to make a deck that not only summons the two, but also protects them and helps them give my opponents the guilty verdict.

I'm always really confused by this.. how do you get out the Xyzs? The Dustons can't be used as materials. |:
