Prince of the Raging Geckos

EARTH / Level 4

<4>====<4>

[ Reptile / Pendulum / Effect ]

PENDULUM EFFECT:  All Reptile-type monsters Special Summoned from the hand are treated as being Normal Summoned.

MONSTER EFFECT:  During the turn this card was Summoned, each time a Reptile-type monster is Summoned:  Place 1 Camouflage counter on this card.  Once per turn, if a Spell/Trap card is activated in response to a Summon from the Extra Deck:  You can remove 1 Camouflage counter from this card; negate that Spell/Trap card and destroy it.  You can only activate this effect once per urn.

[ ATK:  1700 / DEF: 1200 ]

I think this can make Reptile.dek viable, but I dunno~.

I feel like I'm totally doing this wrong.

Now that I'm not distracted by the horrendously broken potential of that Pendulum effect, I can actually look at the rest.

Tbh I think the monster effect is silly. Because you will probably want to actually -use- this card as a material for whatever you want to summon. It's too limited. Personally I think that kind of thing would be more fitting as a Pendulum effect (a way to stop your Extra Deck summons from being negated). If you want to keep it as is, I suggest adding a line that also stops your opponent from reacting to a Summon that uses this monster as material. Or better yet, something like this:

"When this card is Normal Summoned, if you control no monsters except Reptile-Type monsters: you can activate this effect; during this turn, the Special Summon of monsters from your Extra Deck cannot be negated by the effects of Spell or Trap cards, and when you Summon a monster from your Extra Deck, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap cards. If you activate this effect: you cannot Summon any monsters from your hand or Graveyard, except Reptile-Type monsters, until the End Phase."

(not sure if you intended to have summon-negation-prevention or not. As you have it, it cannot stop cards like Solemn Warning etc. If you want to keep it that way, remove the relevant line)
