ExtremeG
Or is it a Cold Island breeze to cool his fire temper? Or... IDK. This is an archetype that I am designing for my fan fiction. The idea comes from one of natures coolest animals: Salamanders! Salamanders have a mythology surrounding them related to fire, yet they are amphibians, which, according to Yu-Gi-Oh and frog monsters, means that they aren't fish or reptiles, but aqua. The myth goes that salamanders are born fire, so it stands to reason that when your opponent inflicts damage to you, the effects of a "Salamantra" monster would activate. They may be a little slow and have 0 ATK and DEF, but with thier Spell/Trap support, they play out pretty well, if you're willing to deal with a little battle damage. Mighty Joe Young
Seems like a decent archetype, but there are some things that I felt should be worked on.Salamantra Mudpup can be SS multiple times per turn. I don't know if this was purposeful, but you can get any Monarch or one of the God Cards on the first turn. The Summoning conditions seem fine, but there should be a restriction.Fyre Avalanche prevents monsters targeted by its effect from being destroyed by Trap Card effects, then says to destroy the affected monsters. Did you mean to protect it from other Trap Card effects or something?
