Goblin Reinforcements: Because Everybody Loves Goblins

My Legendary Ocean deck is getting kind of boring, so I'm considering switching to something even more boring: Goblins. You know, the mildly annoying Warriors with high ATK that switch to Defense Position and so on and so forth. These new cards are meant to compensate for their glaring defensive vulnerability, increase their Summoning speed, and take advantage of their low cost and relative expendability. Whether they succeed or not is yours to decide.

 

Goblin Standard Bearer
EARTH
Level 3
Warrior/Effect
Increase the DEF of all Defense-position "Goblin" monsters, except "Goblin Standard Bearer", you control by 1000. When your opponent attacks this monster: destroy this monster without Damage calculation.

Warrior/Effect
When you summon this card: Special Summon 1 "Goblin" monster, except "Goblin Glider Squadron", from your hand. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. This card's battle position cannot be changed until the End Phase of your next turn, except with a card effect.

Warrior/Effect
When your opponent declares an attack: Negate the attack and inflict 500 damage to your opponent. You can only use this effect of "Goblin Suppression Gunner" once per turn. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. This card's battle position cannot be changed until the End Phase of your next turn, except with a card effect.
