Trap Trap Hole

[ Trap / Counter ]

Activate only when a Trap card is activated.  Negate that card's effect, then destroy 1 card on the field.  Then, you can discard 1 "Traptrix" monster in your hand:  Set 1 "Trap Hole" card from your Deck in your Spell/Trap zone, except "Trap Trap Hole".  You must control a face-up "Traptrix" monster in order to activate and apply this card's effects.

I'm concerned that this is just straight up better than Seven Tools of the Bandit in every way.  I'd balance it by forcing you to have a Traptix to activate it or something.  Otherwise it's just beyond too strong.

 

Still too strong.

 

Have it discard said Traptrix before going with the rest of its effect.

There's still the whole 'creeps the fuck out of Seven Tools' issue, what with this taking care of two cards in one fell swoop and all before you choose to reach for a Trap Hole and so lose a Traptrix, because optional clauses and all.

 

(My understanding of PSCT ain't perfect -- somebody poke the bubble --)
