theonlyvv
What began as a series of books written by myself throughout the past many years, I have unfortunately come to the realization that it just wasn't working out as books (due to similarities I've noticed after playing various certain games). So now I take the characters and ideals that have been close to my heart for a very long time and have formed them into a series of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL IMAGES USED FOR THESE CARDS ARE NOT BY OWN AND WERE FOUND ON GOOGLE IMAGES. THE SET IS ALSO COMPLETE BUT I'M GRADUALLY UPLOADING THE CARDS INTO THIS THREAD AS I GET THE CHANCE TO.

Background : Hidden deep within the planet is an amazingly powerful monster locked within a crystal prison by an unknown being. Keeping this prison's power are the four 'Tempest Crystals' that are hidden across the planet and named after the monster. These crystals give off a magical radiation that gives special abilities to any that come within a range of one. It is rumored that three godlike beings created these crystals and locked away the monster, they are the God of Creation, God of Destruction, and God of Protection, and they are titled the three Savior Gods. A cult following spawned from these rumors by a group of those touched by the crystals that call themselves the Saviors. They believe that in order to restore order and be the Saviors of humanity, they have to destroy the crystals and release 'Tempest', the monster locked in the crystal prison. They believe that the three Gods locked away the monster in the hopes that its powers must be saved for the right time, when humanity is beyond saving. Only then can Tempest rise up and begin the world anew. The Savior cult is led by Saru, Mufalmar, and Panik along with their apprentice, Salira. A Savior named Cien also used to be apart of these leaders until he was struck down by an unknown enemy. Their only goal is to protect each other while finding the crystals to destroy them and summon the ultimate savior, Tempest. Deck Type? : Due to the nature of the Saviors, they are sworn only to protect each other while hunting for the crystals. Therefor, the goal/focus of the deck is to get a named Savior onto the field and keep him there for as long as possible to protect your life points while you draw for the crystals. Typically you want to get an Xyz onto the field, but if you can't manage that then keep Panik, Saru, or Mufalmar on the field as long as possible, while increasing that monsters attack power through the crystals/equips. Mighty Joe Young
Post your lore below the cards so that other members can read them and make OCG corrections, which you need a couple of.The Xyz monsters are balanced, but "Savior" is not a realistic type so change that for God of Protection.Salira is a nice little effect negation.Panik has no limit to the amount of times it's effect can be used. Not sure if that was done purposefully, but you can basically return all Savior cards from your Graveyard to your Deck.

Ah, yeah I know I have some issues with the OCG corrections thing you speak of, I had a hard time describing some of the effects properly. The card archetype was originally just something I was making for fun so a lot of the cards had unrealistic things to them, I've changed a lot but I do need some help with some effect wording. And yes, ALL of the cards originally were a type I made just for this set called "Savior" because as I said, they were unrealistic. But thank you for pointing out that I missed changing the type of God of Protection. And also thank you for pointing out that I totally miscounted the levels on the cards, Doc! Had no idea I did that. I've fixed those couple of things and I'm gunna upload a few more cards, I appreciate the help.
