Zauls
Once per turn: You can pay 500 Life Points and declare 1 card Type (Monster, Spell, Trap); excavate cards from the top of your Deck until 1 card of the declared Type is revealed. It's pretty useful as it can get a +1 by adding something to your hand at the same time as filling your Grave with stuff or if your opponent really wants to they can discard a card, which is still good for you most of the time. It is balanced by the fact that it needs a Normal Summon and has low ATK and it would require a specific kind of deck to really work. Sylvan's wouldn't play this because all they play is Plants so it won't trigger their effects. At least that is what I understand about Sylvans. Mighty Joe Young
Thanks for the review and OCG fix. I just didn't want someone like a Sylvan or Zombie user to be able to freely fill up their grave without a way for their opponent to counter it. -Dom-
I personally feel that this may be used too well with sylvans or zombies (or lightsworn ruler) without the opponent's response, as you could declare Spell/Trap, and most of the time get a LOT of effects, getting a free card as well. Therefore, its effect is essentially pay 500 so your opponent discards a card. Maybe making its cost a bit steeper, perhaps discarding yourself instead of LP and allowing your opponent to stop you would work, as otherwise it wouldn't be worth using in either deck unless completely made around it (convulsion of nature-sylvans is a thing I guess). I really like the idea behind it though!
Mighty Joe Young
I changed the 500LP cost to a discard cost. I don't know if it's just me but I prefer Life Point costs to balance effects.
