Ultravires Posted April 21, 2014 Report Share Posted April 21, 2014 Fistrix is a legit deck. Splashing the Artifact engine is kind of pointless imo because there are only two reasons to splash it. The first is common synergy with the main engine, which doesn't exist here. The second is to mitigate an engine's weak interaction with the opponent on their turn (see: OOPArtifacts, Madolchifact etc.) by providing disruption. Trap trip already have that in spades, no pun intended. You'd be better served by ditching the engine and going full +1 and also adding TTHNs. If you do keep the engine, add Movements. Beagall is only good alongside play enablers, which is why the standard splashes are streamlined with Morall-Beagall-Theo-Move counts at 3-0-3-0, 3-1-3-1, 3-1-3-3 and 3-2-3-3. I'm planning on losing the Artifact engine, so I'll just wait for someone to tell me what +1 Fire Fist looks like, so I can make the appropriate changes to the deck and stuff.
