thomasjcs Posted April 27, 2014 Report Share Posted April 27, 2014 I got this idea based on the concept on the new number monster that is going to appear in duelist avent Shien-Shogun Lord Of The Six Samurai Rank 4 Fire ATK2500/2400 Warrior/Xyz/Effect 2 or more (Max 5) level 4 Six Samurai Monsters Once per turn you can detach 1 Xyz Material from any Xyz monsters you control to negate the activation of a card effect. This card gains effects based on the number of Xyz material's attach to it: *1 or More: This card cannot be destroyed by battle. *2 or More: This card is unaffected by your opponents Monster Effects *3 or More: This card is unaffected by Spell Cards. *4 or More: This card is unaffected by Trap Cards. *5 or More: When this card attack's an opponents Monster with higher ATK, this card gain's ATK equal to the monster its battling until the End Phase. Actually you only separated the 3+ materials into three separated effects. It doesn't negate the opponent effects or restrict their activation, so I find it less useful than the other shiens. Also, it could be stopped with things as simple as marshmallon or I think even Threatening Roar (as far as I know it affects the player, who can't declare the attacks) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I did noticed I forgot to add what kind of level was needed and I did tweaked that last effect a bit. Anyway I just wanted make it capable of dealing with not only spell and traps but to also deal with monster effects like 96 and photon dragon or other monsters similar. I type it here to see if anyone else think differently. I think you should keep the other effects, to make it a real boss monster for the archetype. It still would be kind of difficult to summon it with the lvl 4 six samurais that are useful and be able to use the better effects so those would be ok to be there. LSS Enishi, LSS Kizan, SS Ioru, SS Zanji and ZZ Nisashi. Now, Which of thesse are actually useful? The last time I checked, only kizan, maybe zanji and Ioru too. Out of them only kizan can be special summoned, so even with gate it would be a lot of work to summon more than 3 of them. Now, if you want to negate something, you have to deattach one material, so it means 1 less effect. Let's say for example that you don't have more xzy, and negate something like bottomless when it hits the field, that means that you have a max of 4. Then during your opponent turns he activates something that you negate again, 3. Now it is vulnerable to traps and can't negate for the rest of the turn, so it could be destroyed/banished/bounced by other trap card.
