I don't know much about cards that I don't have, but you've got the same problem that I used to have, before I was the light through some constructive critasism on behalf of Danilus on the old site. You're a horder (possibly incorrect spelling).

You've got 82 cards in your deck, 84 if you include the fusion deck. All those cards may seem useful, but think of it this way, I'll use a recent Duel between me and Ash(es Right Hand), I managed to summon my Blue Eyes Ultimate, and I thought I had it in the bag, but, on his turn, Ash drew and activated Fissure, you should have seen my face, I was in complete disgust that he had made such a cheap move...

But anyway, back on subject, he's got 50 cards in his deck, and imagine yourself in his position, but with your deck, you hope that you draw fissure next turn, but it's half way down that massive mound of un-needed cards, and you're gone, I win! Ash ended up winning that Duel, because he didn't have anything in the way of the cards he needed. I hope you see what I'm getting at, and I realise I'm just going on, and on, and on.

Cheers, Frunk 8)

I think you should have Skilled Dark Magician for summoning Dark Magician quickly and easily, Its a card that requires alot of skill to play because you have to protect it for three turns. (I know I keep going on about this card, but its my favorite card! :) )

Infact, you should at least cut down your deck to at leat 40 to 45 max and read my 'Art of deck making' thread to help you fix this issue. 8)

believe me, i HAVE cut back; i had, like, 200 in my deck before. but, you do both have a point. if there are any you think i should chuck out, just say so. but, no matter what, i plan to keep in white ninja, tsukuyomi, and level limit area b; i found out an in-duel combo using those guys(meaning i found it out while i was dueling my friend last year)

Level Limit - Area B forces all Level 4 or higher monsters into defense mode. Tsukuyomi is a Spirit monster that flips any 1 monster into face-down defense. White Ninja has a flip effect that destroys any defending monster instantly.

Area B prevents my opponents monsters from attacking and destroying white ninja, since his stats arent all that good. i flip him up and destroy one of my opponents monsters, say, blue-eyes(this is good since my friends deck has alot of strong monsters) and get that one out of the way. then i can summon tsukuyomi and flip my little shinobi face-down again and use him again next turn. then tsukuyomi returns to my hand and i can resummon him next turn and repeat the process as much as i want.

the only fault is that there is absolutely no defense for tsukuyomi; my opponent could easily destroy it with raigeki break or trap hole and thats the end of it.

but, if he's available, thats a simple fix: Jinzo.

the deck has too many cards in, and u should play the proper rules coz lyk u said if your not playing much against your m8s then ordanary people will play proper rule and they wont allow you to use ur deck. also alot of the cards in that deck r just plain rubbish, you don't need them. if your deck isn't based on basic plan for the duel you will neva win a offical duel. sorry 4 the critisum but its tru

Well I'm slightly intrigued, I don't play by 100% of the rules myself, but how different to official rules do you play, explain for us?

Oh and, why in the world is Rude Kaiser in your deck? Your only problem really is your monsters, as I said, if I don't own the card myself, I don't know much about it... Whoa, I just noticed you've got way more than 84, I just added up the side... numbers...

If someone came up to me and handed me a replica of your deck and said "Win a Duel with this...", First I would ask him who the hell he was, second, I personally would axe the following, keep in mind that there is a certain time in a Duelist's life when it's ok to leave some of your best ever cards behind :lol: ;

Thousand Eyes Restrict, honestly, I used to have it in my deck, just read the effect over, it's not very good...

Harpie's Brother

Mask of Darkness

Armed Ninja x2

Magician of Faith

Fox Fire x3

Warrior Dai Grepher

At least two Man-Eater Bugs

Sonic Duck (One of my favourite cards because of it's art  )

Neo the Magic Swordsman

Relinquished

Thousand Eyes Idol

and more of those 1750 ATK or less non-tributes used for summoning other cards, I use 1800 ATK +, no less besides my Man-Eater Bug and Des Koala.

Rude Kaiser

Red Eyes B. Dragon (This card would be good if it was a 6-star (One tribute), but it's not, axe it)

Dark Magician x2 (leave one for Dark Paladin, that's all you need)

Slifer the Sky Dragon? What? First of all, you can't use Gods, second, the ones I have seen have no effect, just X000ATK and DEF, does it have an effect, if yes, what? If no, then why is it here? It does nothing...

Black Illusion Ritual

The Dark Door (at least one, or both)

Change of Heart (this is what I meant by 'leave your old buddy cards behind')

Scapegoat (see Change of Heart...)

Now, of course you don't have to do this, but I would...

rude kaiser is in there more as homage than anything else; i got the kaiba starter deck after my first booster pack, and, obviously, it was in there. i also have that kuriboh not only as a good card, but also because my friend gave it to me. i have some others in there that are like that, but i dont recall just now.

oh, and danilus, i WOULD have skilled dark magician in my deck, but i dont have it, and i dont wanna really waste my money on cards anymore(ill get a couple booster packs every once in a while but thats it), since im gonna need it to pay off the rest of the money for my laptop. but, if you know a place where i can get it for, like, 5 bucks, then thatll do.

and, to clarify about "my" rules, its sorta based on the battle city rules from the series. spell card can be activated during your opponent's turn like trap cards, monsters need all their tributes, fusions DONT require polymerization, since not all my friends have it, and no cards are banned like they would be in an "official" duel, but limitations still apply. god cards are optional.

what monsters do you mean, maddog? i try to keep as many low level monsters as possible. the majority of them are 4 stars with around 1600-1800 ATK, 1900 in the case of archfiend soldier. others are lower levels with decent ATK or good effects, like man-eater bug and fiber jar.

if you think this is bad, i could reconstruct the deck and take monsters out of my other 2 decks and put them in here, like gemini elf(a personal favorite)

EDIT: fox fire is another personal favorite, its saved my ass at least for a while several times. when its destroyed in battle, it comes back during the end phase. the only downside is that it cant be sacrificed. that guy helps me out alot, and dark door goes well with them, since theyll only be able to attack once per turn
