Custom Archetype: Pulstar [ 7 / ? ]

.:Blu:.

Recommended Posts

The "Pulstar" archetype is designed with the Arc-V generation in mind; specifically, some of the cards below are meant to be used with the new Pendulum Summoning mechanic. This is a work in progress so you can expect updates. A little trivia: the name "Pulstar" is derived from Pulsar and Star hence the space theme. It also encompasses some "Holy" themes with some of the monsters being named after Archangels.

Thanks for the first comment, Chaos :D

I hadn't thought about comparing these with Photon monsters really. My inspiration actually came from the Constellar and tellaknight archetypes but with more focus on the space aspect of the aesthetics. And Jegudiel and Nebulong aren't the only Pendulum monsters on this archetype. I'm planning on creating more. (This kinda makes me want to do a Yu-Gi-Oh RP xP)

 Anytime ^^

Constellars huh? Almost forgot about them XD But I can see this set becoming great with these current cards!!

And that wouldn't be half bad! A nice YGO RP feat. these cards would be awesome! (Makes me wanna get back into cardmaking again xD)

I think that the archetype is very cool and original so far: futuristic space angels! As for the effects, I think they are original and work well, but could do with some more Pendulums to actually get them going and add a bit more variety in that sense, and some s/t support that act like selaphiel's effect to summon another LIGHT to take the shuffled Pulstar's place, as I personally think shuffling monsters back a lot to play could be vunerable. I was wondering whether this was supposed to be a monster heavy deck, so you're always drawing more?

Really great work so far though, love the art and the idea of them!
