I started with a few batman related cards. As you may know, many DC heroes/villains relay on the uses of items, artificats, gadgets and so on... that's why I wanted to create a Type of card to support the idea of using this... gadgets, and that's how I ended up creating a sort of Sub-type of Spell Cards with a new icon and "new" playstyle. ("new" because they're attached to the monsters like Xyz).Gadget Icon was created for this "Gadget Spell" Cards. Rules about this Gadget Spell Cards.1. Although they cannot be placed on your regular Spell/Trap Zone. They're still affected by any other card's effectthat affect(s) Spell Cards somehow.2. Gadget Spell Cards cannot be Set.3. Only 1 Gadget Spell Card can be attached per monster, unless an effect declares otherwise.4. Gadget Spell Cards cannot be detached for the use of a Xyz' monster effect(s).5. Gadget Spell Cards that were attached to a destroyed monster are destroyed as well OR attached to anotherpossible monster due to an effect.Anyways, enough words. Let's start the Set.[spoiler=Batman, the Dark Knight]LORE:~2 Level 4 monstersWhen Summoned by the effect of "Bat-Signal": This card gains 300 ATK and DEF; Control of this card cannot switch.Once per turn, when your opponent Summons: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Return that monster to the bottom of your oponent’s Deck. When a monster battles this face-up card: That monster is changed to Defense Position after damage calculation; It's position cannot be changed until the end of your opponent's next turn. Once per turn: this card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card would be destroyed by an effect your opponent controls: Banish this card; Special Summon it during your next Standby Phase as an Effect Monster, you cannot Normal Summon during that turn.[/spoiler][spoiler=Robin, The Boy Wonder]LORE:~All other Warrior-Type monsters you control gain 200 ATK. While you control another Warrior-Type monster: Your opponent can only select this card as an attack target; Any monster attacking this card it's returned to you opponent's hand after damage step. If another Warrior-Type monster you control would be destroyed by a card’s effect your opponent controls: You can Triute this card; Negate and destroy that card.[/spoiler][spoiler=Batgirl]LORE:~Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up monster on the field; change it's Battle Position. This card is changed to Defense Position when selected as an attack target. If this card would be destroyed y battle: You can discard 1 Gear Spell Card; return this card to your hand. Then, any battle damage taken this turn would be halved.[/spoiler][spoiler=Bat-Signal]LORE:~When an opponent's monster declares an attack: If you control at least 1 monster listed as a Xyz Material; You can Xyz Summon 1 "Batman" from your Extra Deck in Attack Position using that Xyz Material monster; This effect cannot be negated. Then, if your opponent controls Set cards, select and call one of the followings: Effect Monster, Spell or Trap Card. Then, activate one of the following effects depending on your call:*Effect Monster: Flip all Set monsters into Attack Position; their effects are negated.*Spell Card: Target up to 2 Set Spell/Trap Cards, reveal them; Spell Cards are returned to the top of your opponent's Deck.*Trap Card: Target up to 2 Set Spell/Trap Cards, reveal them; Trap Cards are returned to the bottom of your opponent's Deck.[/spoiler][spoiler=Utility Belt]LORE:~Add 1 Gear Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn: You can detach 1 "Bat-Rope" from a monster you control; "Batman" can attack directly this turn. It cannot attack during your next Battle Phase.[/spoiler][spoiler=The Joker]LORE:~This card must be Ritual Summoned first with the Ritual Spell Card, "Chemical Joke"; Once it has been Summoned that way: This card is treated as an Effect Monster when it leaves the field. When this card is first Ritual Summoned: Select 3 occupied/unoccupied Monster Card Zones on the field; Each time a monster attacks anothermonster you control from the selected Zones halve it's ATK during Damage Step only, once "The Joker" leaves the field: Negate this effect. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed: You can discard 1 Gear Spell Card from your hand; this card cannot be destroyed this time. During your opponent's Main Phase, flip a coin and call it: If you call it right, place 1 "Joker's Teeth" Counter on a monster your opponent controls; If an effect is activated from a monster with 1 "Joker's Teeth" Couter on it; remove it, negate its effects this turn.[/spoiler][spoiler=Chemical Joke]LORE:~This card is used to Ritual Summon 1 "The Joker". You must Tribute 1 "The First Red Hood" and send 1 Gear Spell Card from your Deck to the Graveyard.[/spoiler][spoiler=The First Red Hood]LORE:~If you control no monsters during your Main Phase: You can reveal this card in your hand; Special Summon it in Attack Position. Bat-Signal: Counter Trap? don't get me wrong. effect is nice and maybe it works well. but REAL card named ''Starlight Road'' negated destroyer effects AND is not Counter Trap. Some rulling posted about Gadget Spell Cards as well. I agree some Gadget cards are OP, I'm trying to take care of that somehow, expect updates..Please CnC, I would appreciate some comments, thoughts or suggestions.
