There can only be 1 face-up "Earthbound Immortal" monster on the field. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. Your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target. This card can attack your opponent directly. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, discard 1 card and add one field spell card to your hand. 

 

Ok a simple card but it plays more to the decks weakness. OP?

This seems like one of those cases where an Earthbound Immortal for some reason isn't playing to its strengths.

 

The power of the Immortals is their ability to attack directly with high ATK. Ccapac Apu already violates Immortal logic by having a Flame Wingman effect, and while that type of effect at least has a practical purpose by still being an aggressive effect while getting rid of opposing monsters in battle, it doesn't really make Ccapac Apu any better.

 

Then there's Cusillu, which is baffling beyond belief by having its effect based on LOSING a battle with a monster. Meaning you attacked a stronger monster on purpose with a monster that attacks directly. (Halving LP is cool, though).

 

This card isn't really covering an Immortal Deck's weakness. It needs to destroy a monster in battle (why are you attacking monsters?), and then costs a discard to search a Field Spell. Since Immortals already need a Field Spell out to not kill themselves, turning cards in your hand into Terraforming when you kill a monster in battle with a direct attacker seems more counterproductive than helpful.

The only time I'd attack an Opponent's monster would be with Ccapac Apu while having Mound of the Bound Creator up. That wipes 4k from my Opponent's LP right away.

Anyway, I agree, this card doesn't help the deck. Heck, I may run Wiroqucka Raska over this (and yes, to me that is the #1 worst Immortal made ever)
