As for the topic of gun laws and such. I personally have no desire to own a gun. I would not however tell anyone that likes guns that they can't like them or that they're dumb for liking them or anything like that. I do feel however that there need to be regulations not so much restricting people's opportunity to purchase them but more to train them on their proper use and important safety information. Cars are pretty darn lethal too but we don't see people petitioning for the restriction of their purchase. Instead we offer driver's education classes and make people pass a test to show they can safely operate the vehicle.

That's definitely the problem.  A lot of more left thinking persons' opinions on guns are similar to conservatives' opinions on sex.

Abstinence.  Restrict, but don't talk about it it.

If guns are going to be legal, people need to understand gun safety.  It's not that hard to figure out.

I remember whenever the issue of guns have gone to a debate, people bring up Switzerland's gun laws and how it has low crime rates because it has every eligible person 18 and above go through gun training and get a gun. People have been arguing to have that for the U.S so we can lower our gun crimes, though it seems to work out over there, I'm skeptical in having it happen here since it seems very expensive to arm many of the citizens here because we're a bigger country than Switzerland. I wouldn't really object if they have this law for here.

On the topic of discrimination laws, I did here of someones say that it's still discrimination to eject those who can legally have their guns out on the open. They argued against him that they do it for safety reasons but he said that it perpetuates the stereotypes of gun owners being dangerous maniacs. He even advocates to make an amendment for it. I'm a little bit I'm in the middle of this, but do you agree with him?

What do gay cakes have to do with gun laws? :/

I think guns are bad.

Someone said something about the constitution being old and kinda outdated, then Speedy said Congress shouldn't change it because they have their bias and then brought the issue of the gay cakes because it somehow went against his religious freedom. It kinda got off-topic by then.

Guns are more neutral; they are just tools that can be used for owners purpose of either the subjectives evil or good ideals. They just dangerous to me, that's all.

Guns aren't neutral because the intention behind a gun's creation comes before the gun is made.

The intention for being made can depend on who's making, while the effects of when you use a gun can be called bad, since you're putting a bullet into someone, but purpose of using it is neutral to me because it depends on who's handling it just like on those who are making it.

I agree that different people can make a gun for different reasons, but whether that range of reasons averages out into neutrality is something else right?

It is. It's hard to figure out unless we can find a graph or some kind of study on it, so that's I just go with the neutral/ I don't give a f*** position with them.

Guns differ in comparison to other weapons. Knifes are historically hunting tools, and do continue to be so and obviously as kitchen or butcher's tools.

Guns are also used as such, but handguns are a big exception to that. Absolutely impractical for hunting. They are machine designed by people to kill people. Regardless of intention, I personally can't take homicide as a neutrality.

After thinking more about it, I would say guns are mostly used for bad because of the reasons on why homicides are committed but I mostly focused on the other reasons it's used, self defense and the shooting range, along with hunting with appropriate rifles but I don't agree with hunting.
