Holy Birds - Archetype

This is my first topic in this site. I would really appreciate any sugestion for my archetype. The deck consists on putting Spells on the top of the Deck so you can use the monsters' excavate effects.

[spoiler=lore]Once per turn: You can discard 1 Spell Card; Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Holy Bird" monster from your Deck, except "Holy Bird Lightning". During your Main Phase: You can remove from play 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard; increase this card's Level by 1. This effect can be used only once while this card is face-up on the field.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=lore]When this card is Special Summoned, you can choose 1 Spell Card from your Deck and put it on top of the Deck. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the graveyard, you can excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is a Spell Card, send it to the Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Holy Bird" monster from your graveyard, except "Holy Bird Hurricane". Otherwise, place it on the bottom of your Deck.[/spoiler]

The only things I would change currently is Lightning's effect and Armors effect

- Lightnings' to only special summon from the hand otherwise his effect can lead to one giant loophole and easy OTK

- Armors' to something a little more limited by taking out one of the three effects i.e. Negating a spell or trap, birds cant be destroyed by battle, and birds can be destroyed by card effects

Overall, I think you may need to watch how loopy cards can become which is sometimes hard to notice if your the one creating them becuase you have a specific plan in mind how to use them but I like the card idea like Sylvans but more focused.

A bit complicated, systematically. My suggestion is to make them more categorized, like the monster excavate spells or banishes them, the spell provide pluses when excavated (or maybe do something when banished). At the moment I see chaos while reading them (and also while making an image of the archetype plays, systematically). A truly systematic archetype are Satellarknight, Shaddoll, Sylvan (your archetype is based on these cute plants, yes?), and many more. I want to make a list of the cards that is good and bad, and the likes; but I'll just wait until you fix them somehow. Your first post is good though, I like the idea. And more, you might want to change their name to "Sacred Bird", or maybe "Sacred Avian". Plus, find better pictures. Visit this page.

I would list Lightning as an 'okay' card, a Summoner Monk, nothing else. Armor is not that powerful; in fact, Forbidden Lance is way better. Its on-excavate effect is not that good too anyway, indestructible for a turn (still prone to Compulsory or Dimensional Prison).

There are no loopy cards here (afaics), and cards that can make a loop are rare (example is 2 Night Assailant continuously returning each other for discard costs). If you meant repetition, there's many of them (Summoner Monk special summons Summoner Monk, and more).
