liljramos88
Ok so am seeing a bit of a trend happening in some duels online i have been seeing a few Water decks running Mask Change Second and Masked HERO Acid. So what you guys think of these being staples in water attribute decks like Mermails and even Ghiskis. is it worth it? Must be Special Summoned with "Mask Change" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Special Summoned: Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards your opponentcontrols, and if you do, all monsters they control lose 300 ATK. Discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up monster you control; send it to the Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Masked HERO" monster from your Extra Deck with the same Attribute as that monster, but with a higher Level. (This Special Summon is treated as a Special Summon with "Mask Change".) You can onlyactivate 1 "Mask Change Second" per turn.
evilfusion
It depends on the Deck, and whether they really have the space for that kind of tech. Acid is certainly awesome, and Mask Change Second will make it even more awesome outside HERO Decks, but Decks like Mermails don't really need it. The discard for Second won't Trigger the Atlanteans, and it just makes more sense to use their own synergy and effects to deal with backrow and the like. The Mermails from my memory use the Atlanteans as their discard fodder, and very few of them actually get effects when THEY get discarded (hence, the Atlanteans). Gishkis might use it, but it doesn't seem like something they need, either.
Lonk
There's also the fact that Shadow Mist + A Hero Lives practically makes this a powerful engine for Gishkis to use. Play A Hero Lives, then Shadow Mist into Second Change, then Gishki Abyss summon and (depending on who went first) set it so that your opponent will set a good number of cards and activate it during their EP or activate it immediately. Zauls
Mask Change Second does trigger Gunde actually since its not a cost. That could have been fun if Gunde didn't get limited, but you need to reserve Gunde for more important things now. I can't really think of anything that this could be used in right now, but in the future it could be a thing.
Slinky
I might run this in my Rank-Up deck. gets rid of pesky backrow and MCS gets rid of dead Gazer sharks.
JadenxAtemYAOI
Ooohhh, something Sharks can abuse:D Edit: Torrential Reborn+Torrential Tribute just became more fun.
%phil
i don't think acid is good enough to use up 3 cards on, i feel mask change 2 is only really useful when you get it for free off shadow mist. it seems like something that might win you a game because you hit 5 backrow in end phase but will otherwise dead draw/lose you so much card advantage that it's simply not worth it. JadenxAtemYAOI
Sharks shouldn't really have a problem maintaining a decent hand so being a dead card isn't a problem. The -1 on your field wouldn't really matter when abusing Superancient Deepsea King. Acid just helps ensure the OTK by clearing the backrow.
