July 2014 Banlist Wishlist + Predictions

Banned:

 

Nothing noteworthy aside from Soul Charge off the top of my head

 

 

Limited:

 

Abyssphere (either this or Abysslinde)

Mermail Abysslinde (either this or Abyssphere)

Madolche Hootcake (Lets face it, they need to be hit somehow)

Dark Magician of Chaos (oblitagory unban banned card)

Lonefire Blossom (as much as I hate to admit it, it was a mistake to bump this up to 2)

 

 

Semi-Limited:

 

Allure of Darkness (might be a bad idea because Shadolls, but they haven't hit the TCG yet)

Dark Hole  (Seriously, people don't really use this anymore)

Sacred Sword of Seven Stars (what commonly run level 7s are there now aside from D-Rulers?)

Gold Sarcophagus

Magician of Faith (nobody used it, lets bump it up)

 

Unlimited:

 

Summoner Monk

Advanced Ritual Art

I dont really feel on commenting on the whole thing right now, but for the moment, ARA and Trag sound like horrible unlimits.

Madolche Hootcake (Lets face it, they need to be hit somehow) Sounds like a plan, pretty central to most of their annoying combos. Whether they are anything more than a nuisance is another question

Lonefire Blossom (as much as I hate to admit it, it was a mistake to bump this up to 2) Only reason this was scary was because Sylvans, which aren't topping much if anything. Congrats on your 1st turn double quasar, but that isnt exactly relevant when the majority of players dont even own 2 Quasars.

Sacred Sword of Seven Stars (what commonly run level 7s are there now aside from D-Rulers?) Frankly I think 3 is fine. Banishing Drulers rarely happens with them limited since you cant search other copies.

Magician of Faith (nobody used it, lets bump it up) Meh, Don't care too much, but could make same argument for DMoC in that we'll be entering a Fusion Format (Not that they cant recycle their spell already, but why give them more power?)

Summoner Monk Infernities could have a field day, I'd prefer not.

Advanced Ritual Art Horrible idea with the new Herald stuff on the way.

Tragoedia Frankly I think 2 is too much, but could simply be personal bias.

I got back in too recently to be predicting lists but tbh I'd rather they use OCG results to weaken DUEA things than leave us stuck with them for 2 months.
