[Haru Star] Delta! An Era of Change

Introducing the "Delta" archetype. 
The delta symbol, Δis frequently used as a symbol of change, so I based an archetype around it.

The theme of the art is a typical RPG adventure story where the "hero recruits members to defeat a common enemy."
Trivia included with the cards.

When this card's battle position is changed, you can add 1 "Delta" monster from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn: You can target 1 "Delta" monster you control; Up to twice per turn, that card cannot be destroyed by battle.[/spoiler]

 

This is the "Hero" who recruits his comrades through his many hardships. He tries his best to protect them and ends up hurting himself in the process. Because his sense of justice engulfs his thinking, he almost always rushes into trouble. He's usually reasonable, but consequences make him think twice.[/spoiler]

When this card's battle position is changed by a card effect: "Delta" monsters on the field gain 200 ATK and DEF. Once per turn: You can target 1 monster on the field; that card cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects for the rest of this turn.[/spoiler]

 

The musician with the power to heighten the party's spirit in order to help them become stronger throughout the adventure. Her gentle music soothes the hearts of those near her. She's quiet, but strong-willed.[/spoiler]

When this card's battle position is changed, you can target and destroy 1 Spell/Trap card on the field. The rival of the dear hero. His specialty is dual-wielding, boasting the skills to cut down the magical powers of the enemy. He can teach anyone how to attack consecutively. A close friend of the hero, he tries his best to not be reckless. But his sense of morality tends to get the best of him.

One of the hero's most trusted and powerful allies. He uses spells to render the opponent useless and summons spirits to protect his allies. He can be bitter towards strangers, usually ending up in arguments.[/spoiler]

Bestowed with heavenly powers from above, the party tends to look for her to avoid approaching their early grave. She believes the strong need to protect the weak.[/spoiler]

A nobleman who possesses a stallion from a world beyond. He has incredible offense, but is defenseless without his horse. He banished people from their own country for personal gain, but ever since his defeat by the hero, he's gotten better.[/spoiler]

The smartest man in the Hero's Kingdom. He mixes different substances together in hopes of creating something revolutionary. He has a kind heart, often unlocking the potentials of his friends. He joins the Hero in his quest to study the world. His crucial knowledge of the dark secrets of the Kingdom will prove to be useful to the team.[/spoiler]

Twins who showed exceptional battle prowess in the kingdom. Although they don't look the same, the way they act is very similar. Both tend to be very optimistic, helping not only each other out, but the whole team as well.[/spoiler]

The princess of the kingdom the Hero lives in. She has the power to communicate with anyone anywhere with her connections, a very influential woman. She holds a bittwersweet relationship with the hero, tagging along to see the world outside the castle walls.[/spoiler]

Personal bodyguard of the princess. She acts like an older sister, providing her guidance. She absolutely hates the hero, but can sometimes show sympathy. Her powerful armor can withstand any attack, making sure to protect the weak.[/spoiler]

A high-spirited treasure hunter. She gathered the secrets of the kingdom, bypassing all lines of defense unnoticed. She likes to hang around Kusanagi, mostly annoying him. Her idea of treasure is what keeps her going; what makes her follow the party.[/spoiler]

[spoiler='Lore']Target 2 "Delta monsters in your Graveyard; Special Summon both those targets. Immediately after this card resolves, Xyz Summon 1 "Delta" Xyz Monster using those 2 monsters only. During either player's turn, except for the turn this was sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 monster on the field; change that target's battle position and attach this card as an Xyz Material to a "Delta' Xyz Monster you control. If this card is sent to the Graveyard as an Xyz Material, banish it.[/spoiler]

 

The darkest secret of the kingdom. With the help of Newt, they happened to stumble upon the deadly weapon the King was hiding. They felt its tremendous energy and felt as though they had to stop it.[/spoiler]

The man who maintains order in the Kingdom, as well as the best friend of Newt. Although he watches over everything for the king, his hatred of the King drove him to help out the party, giving them unlimited resources, opening new opportunities.[/spoiler]

As they encountered the weapon, Mariah's untold past was projected to her allies. In order to save her from the mind poisoning of the weapon, they had to save her. When they did, her forgotten powers flourished, making the party near invincible.[/spoiler]

As the Hero fell, Da Vin was desperate to do what it took to revitalize him. With Sonata's help, he was able to use his ultimate magic, manifesting his chosen spirit to give the hero energy and protection.[/spoiler]

The non-aging king that everyone used to look up to and respect. Obsessed with power, his rule became more and more terrifying. The people were never safe from his grasp, and the party intends to stop his barbaric reign.[/spoiler]

When this card is Xyz Summoned: You can change the battle position of 1 "Delta" monster you control. When this card's battle position is changed by a card effect: You can discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand to the Graveyard. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and target 1 monster on the field; change that target's battle position.[/spoiler]

 

Empowered by his friends, the hero finally unleashes his true potential. He easily disposes of the enemy's power, cutting them down bit by bit to finally deliver the final blow. He rushes to the final battle against Celsi, in order to protect the Kingdom.[/spoiler]

[spoiler='Playing Style']They change battle positions to use their effects that harm the opponent, while having their own effects to protect or enhance one of their own. The more you have on the field, the better. Works nicely with the Labyrinth of Nightmares.[/spoiler]

 

 

Change is always nice, and to win most fights you have to know whether to attack or defend.

My only question is that right now, it sounds like they trigger their own effects from summon, no? To me that sounds a bit too powerful. I really want to talk about these cards because I really like them, but that question needs to be clarified first.

I like them. I like the concept and it seems really well put together. Honestly, I'd play this deck if it was real.

Yes, their effects can trigger on their own summon. I wanted to make it so that they can at least activate their effects faster instead of being summoned, not doing anything, and then die the next turn. But I see your point on some of them. I think I'll change it so that some of the more powerful cards change the battle positions of other "Delta" monsters instead of themselves.
