Jungle Bones | Monster Effect

Recommended Posts

Well this is just not worth it at all.  So you have a level 8 monster with some extremely underpowered attack and defense stats, but you have to hit your opponent's face downs if possible, and if one of your targets is light or earth, you lose this thing and take damage equal to the attack of the targeted card.  Let me show you what I mean with some simple math:

Takes 3 cards to bring out (himself and 2 tributes):                                                                       -3

Can attack twice with mediocre stats (doesn't really count towards the math, but I will give it to ya): +1

Must attack face down cards if possible, meaning you lose possible damage:                                      -1

If ANY attack target is LIGHT or EARTH this card is automatically destroyed:                                     -1

Also, you take damage equal to that card's attack:                                                    -1

Which means that this card brings a grand advantage of....................-5, and that's saying that 2 attacks is useful with that pitiful attack (which its not, so really that one should be a +0, giving you a total of -6).

As shown this is a simple case where the costs greatly out way the advantage.  Really I see no place in duels for this type of card, but if you want to keep to the theme, simply bump its attack to, say, 2500-2700 (or lower its level to 6), and give it the following effect:

"This card can declare a second attack during each of your Battle Phases."

That is completely balanced, as it then has decent attack for its level in either case and an ability to utilize it.

Aha, while I appreciate the lengths you went to analyze my card, I literally just made a few for fun, focusing mainly on interesting pictures. I haven't played the game for years and have no care whether this would be effective in a real game as it never will be;) Just a bit of fun.
Like I said, good info though, and thanks.
