Sylvan Funguy - and yes, I did just use that pun

Fun-guy.

Heheheheheheheh. Sure you guys haven't heard that one before.

Anywho, the card:

You can only activate each effect of "Sylvan Funguy" once per turn. If this card is excavated and sent to the Graveyard by a card effect: You can Special Summon this card. You can target 1 "Sylvan" monster in your Graveyard; return this card to the top of the Deck, and if you do, Special Summon that target.

It's kinda like Wulf on drugs. Maybe I should limit it to "only one effect per turn, and only once that turn" instead of allowing him to use both effects, once each, per turn. That said, the card is simple: when it's excavated, you can Summon it. As icing on top of the cake, you can send him from your side of the field to the top of your deck to revive a sylvan. Oh, and he's a tuner.

I mean, he definitely fits the Sylvan theme, but I'll admit, it is quite a potent card. CnC, much appreciated!

I do agree, a very potent card for the sylvan deck. Firstly though, LOVE the pun. Just amazing. As for the card, it is very multi-purpose, as the way its effects work together means that as long as it's excavated (and its effects aren't negated) it'll be a one-card synchro of whatever level you choose, with sylvan monsters having such varied levels.

I'm not that fond of the fact that it outclasses Peaskeeper most of the time, except obviously bringing lonefire blossom back, as peaskeeper is already a good card in the deck, and this is a tuner with a similar effect that combos with the next one.

I actually think the card is fine how it is, and limiting the effects to one a turn would severely limit its potential for the deck. Usually, I would say this is almost too powerful as the rest of the deck is so focused on multi-card combos while this is a one card thing, but I do feel that this card alone would be needed to push Sylvans to the level that they should be at competitively considering the amount of effort Konami has put into them: this would be like their Anjelly in terms of revamping the deck. So, great card overall, I love it!
