-Noel-
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Cannot be Special Summoned unless you control no Special Summoned monsters .If your opponent controls a Special Summoned monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You cannot Summon monsters for the rest of this turn. When this card is Special Summoned OR when your opponent Special Summoned a monster: Target 1 Special Summoned monster your opponent controls; while this card is face-up on the field, take control of that target. If this effect is activated, this card cannot be destroyed by battle until the end of this turn, also your opponent takes no damage until then. You can only use the effect of "Illya, the Illusion Charmer" once per turn. Used this twice and kinda satisfied with the results. I'm thinking about changing its DEF to 1500 so that it'd fit the Charmer theme, but I'm not so sure about it since battle protection if opponent SS on a 1500 body maybe too much, I also got critique about this card's balance in Monarch Deck, so CnC would be appreciated [spoiler='Old Version'] Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. JustAnotherDuelist
This card feels like a more OP version of Moonlight Rose Dragon. This card can easily give you card advantage, and is easy to Summon. There is a lack of drawbacks on the card when you use it during your turn. Taking no damage is hardly a concern when you could clear their field with the monster you took control of. This card is more balanced during the opponent's turn, though; most decks SS, so they will most likely try to run over this card before attempting anything else, or give you a crappy monster from Tour Guide. Looking at it from a "during the opponent's turn" perspective, this card is very balanced and has its uses, but from a "during your turn" perspective, this card feels broken and leads to all sorts of shenanigans, like using the controlled monster's effects, using it as Tribute fodder, or Xyz Summoning. I would suggest you can't summon other monsters the turn you use the effect OR that you can't attack with any monster other than the monster you took control of. -Noel-
hmm so the better one of your choice says no to Artifact engine, but well I think will take your suggestion. Why didn't I figured about restriction on summon faster!?

Aqua Girl
Card grammar is great. Save for one. "If this effect is activated" Should be While you control an Opponents Monster. It is more proper and it adds synergy to monarch's if you play it in there. Not usually one to critique effects sorry D: It seems fine if your deck cannot normal summon that's your problem. FFS we have Majesties Fiend that's waaaay worse than this.
