newhat
Synchro Monster Level 3/Warrior/FIRE 2000/0 Effect: Cannot be Synchro Summoned. During either player's turn: You can Tribute 1 monster whose effect (if any) has not activated and resolved; Special Summon this card from your Extra Deck, but you do, you cannot use effects to add cards from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand for the rest of the Duel. Things you CAN'T Tribute: - A High Priestess of Prophecy or Kagetokage you brought out by its own effect - A Gear Gigant X who's already added a card - Another copy of itself Things you CAN Tribute: - A Grapha who destroyed a card and then was Special Summoned from the Graveyard - A Genex Undine whose effect is still resolving (you won't add a Controller) - A Normal Monster The idea is to Summon a monster with a nice beneficial effect (Moralltach, Kalantosa), bait out Bottomless or something, and sacrifice the monster to drop Bidy over it, like you would with Circle of the Fire Kings. Obviously it has a huge drawback and most Decks don't work without searches. It's designed for Decks that abuse powerful low-Level effects, or inconsistent Decks that work with any hand they draw and don't grind pluses from the Deck or Graveyard. I was thinking Synchrocentric. You get 3 "charges" of its effect since you can't revive it, and you have to work with no search engine. Is it too big a drawback? Airride
You can't summon it, since it needs a tribute, but you can't control a monster to summon it. ...Also, what's the point? The drawback is horrendous, the ATK is mediocre, and I'm probably missing the point entirely.
