While this card is in your Graveyard, when an Xyz Monster you control declares a Direct Attack: Target the attacking monster; its ATK becomes half its current ATK during Damage Calculation only. I think halving its ATK works a little better.
Progenitor
Honestly the last effect kinda kills this card. Yes you get a 1 card Xyz, but the whole point of hieratics is to swarm and spam Xyz, Synchros and the effect monsters as quickly as possible, and possibly go for an OTK. The fact that if you use this you cant attack directly with those spammed Xyz until you find away to fish it out of your grave (a feet that none of the hieratic cards can actually do) really hurts. Either you need to think of a new drawback condition, or maybe work in a time factor into the effect so that it will banish itself after a few turns or something. Other than that, I would instantly use this so long as the drawback fits a bit better. Its fantastic if you don't open all that great.
