"Mehandoll" Card Set

Mehandoll Sword

When a face-up monster is destroyed by a card effect on your opponent's side of the field (except by this card's effect): You can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only control 1 face-up "Mehandoll Sword". Cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn: you can return 1 monster you control to the hand: Target 1 card on the field; destroy that target. When this card is returned to the hand by "Mehandoll" card effect: draw 1 card.

 

Mehandoll Jet

There can only be 1 face-up "Mehandoll Jet"on the field. Once per turn: You can banish this face-up card until your next Stand-By Phase: add 1 "Mehandoll" monster from your Deck to your hand. When this card is returned to your hand by "Mehandoll" card effect: Special Summon 1 "Mehandoll Jet" from your Deck.

 

Mehandoll Zensect

There can only be 1 face-up "Mehandoll Zensect" on the field. Each time this card is returned to your hand by the "Mehandoll" card effect: increase ATK of all face-up "Mehandoll" monsters you curently control by 200. When this card is destroyed: add 1 "Mehandoll" Spell Card from your Deck to your hand.

 

Mehandoll Drum

There can only be 1 face-up "Mehandoll Drum"on the field. While your opponent controls a monster: this card is unaffected by other card effects. Once per turn when your monster is attacked: You can banish this face-up card until the End Phase and return 1 "Mehandoll" monster from the field to your hand; destroy the attacking monster.

 

Mehandoll Aerix

1 "Mehandoll" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
There can only be 1 face-up "Mehandoll Aerix"on the field. Once per turn: you can return 1 face-up "Mehandoll" monster to your hand; increase ATK of this card by 500 until the End Phase. You can return this face-up card to the Extra Deck: Special Summon 2 "Mehandoll" monsters with different names from your hand. They cannot be used for Xyz Summon except for Xyz Summon of "Mehandoll" monster.

 

Mehandoll Enragoc

2 Level 2 "Mehandoll"Monsters
There can only be 1 face-up "Mehandoll Enragoc"on the field. This card Rank is can also be treated as it's Level. Once per turn you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: target 1 "Mehandoll" card in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand. That card or card with the same name cannot be played during this turn. If this card was used as a Material for Synchro Summon: return 1 card on each side to the owner hands.

 

Mehandoll Limitos

You cannot activate this card if you control more monsters then your opponent. Return cards to to owner's hand equal to the number of face-up "Mehandoll" monsters.

 

Mehandoll Contico

As long as this card is on the field you can control more then 1 "Mehandoll" monster with the same name on the field. Once per turn: return 1 face-up "Mehandoll" monster to the hand; destroy 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field. When this card is destroyed return all face-up "Mehandoll" monsters to owner's hand.

These are really cool so far, love the artwork and the idea of getting effects when they're bounced! The only thing I'd say is that you might want to change the wording of Mehandoll Sword's destruction effect to "you can only use this effect of "Mehandoll Sword" once per turn." otherwise I think you might be able to bounce himself back and destroy something, draw 1 card and special summon himself to do it again. Not too sure, but I think that's how it would work. But yeah excellent archetype so far, looking forward to seeing more if you make it ^.^

These are really cool so far, love the artwork and the idea of getting effects when they're bounced! I really like the artwork. I can tell you put a lot of work into it with the strings and such. It's very good and none of the artwork stretches! I'm so impressed!

 

As for the effects, they're fair, balanced, and I think it's brilliant that you have the whole puppet vibe going on, where you can only really control one at a time. Then the spells bring them all together. It works so well, and you have an Xyz and a Synchro that work well with the set to top it all off. 

 

One suggestion though, the Mehandoll Swords' artwork just seems a bit detached from the rest. I know artwork is a bitch to find so don't even worry. I really enjoyed looking at these! Great job!

Thanks for feedback. About Mehandoll Sword's artwork: it was the first card made in the Set, so I have to edit the others, and it have original artwork.

I wouldn't mind using these in a proxy deck, i think its the effects that make these cards work well. At first I didn't get the Xyz but now I do an its a tuner as well, so bonus points :)

 

Edit: on Drum, would his effect cancel itself? Possibly change it to "this card is unaffected by other card effects".

Yeah it would. But now I changed it to do not cancel itself. Thank You for mentioning that.
