TPagSwaqq
Hi! I'm new, but wanted to test out the balance, OCG, appearance, and play-ability of this set. I would appreciate any and all input. I intend to add some more as time goes on, but for now, here are the current ones. Thanks! (Also, I think I accidentally posted this in Single cards. My bad!) Tiger Warrior - Losgemaal If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, decrease its ATK by 200 during your End Phase. Tiger Warrior - Moord This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned (from your Hand) by tributing 3 face-up "Tiger Warrior" monsters, (including "Tiger Dragon") from your side of the field. This card gains 500 ATK for each Beast-Warrior or Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard. The turn that this card is Special Summoned, this card cannot be destroyed. While this card is face-up on your side of the field, all the monsters on your opponent's side of the field can only attack this card, if they attack. Tiger Sanctuary - Heiligdom "Tiger Warrior" and "Tiger Dragon" monsters cannot be destroyed. Battle damage is applied normally. Once per turn, you can discard one card to Special Summon one Level 4 or lower "Tiger Warrior" monster from your hand or deck. Pay 1000 Life Points during each of your End Phases or destroy this card. Tiger Dragon 2 This card's name is treated as "Tiger Dragon" while on the field or in the Graveyard. As long as this card is face-up on your side of the field, all Beast-Warrior-type monsters are also treated as Dragon-type monsters. War of the Ancients When this card is activated, place 1 Tiger Dragon Counter on this card. Each time a "Tiger Warrior" monster or "Tiger Dragon" is summoned, place 1 Tiger Dragon Counter on this card. When there are 4 or more Tiger Dragon Counters on this card, each "Tiger Dragon" on your side of the field gains 1500 ATK and DEF. When there are 8 or more Tiger Dragon Counters on this card, this card cannot be destroyed. Imprint of Battle Place 2 Tiger Dragon Counters on any face-up card you control. Tiger Warrior – Hoof When a "Tiger Warrior" or "Tiger Dragon" monster is summoned to your side of the field, target one set card your opponent controls. Destroy that target. The opponent cannot activate the targeted card's effect in response to this card. Tiger Warrior – Vrou This card can attack your opponent twice per turn. When this card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 2 "Tiger Warrior Tokens" (Beast-Warrior-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 100/DEF 100). This card must be in your Graveyard to activate and to resolve this effect. If this effect is activated, banish this card from your Graveyard. Tiger Warrior – Maai This card can attack your opponent directly. If your opponent takes Battle Damage as a result of this effect, this card loses 600 ATK. When the ATK of this card is 0, banish this card. Tiger Warrior – Deuntjie If this card is used as Synchro Material for a Synchro Summon, discard one card. You can change this card's level to any number from 1 to 8. Tiger Warrior – Tand This card is unaffected by the effects of Trap Cards. Once per turn, you can discard 1 Spell or Trap card to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Tiger Warrior" or "Tiger Dragon" card from your hand. Tiger Scroll of Battle When the attack of a "Tiger Warrior" monster or "Tiger Dragon" is negated by an opponent's trap card, destroy all Spell and Trap cards on your opponent's side of the field. During the End Phase of the turn this card was activated, take 1000 points of damage to your Life Points. Tiger Warrior – Wahyu "Tiger Warrior - Moord" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned, banish all cards on the field, other than this card. The ATK and DEF of this card are equal to half of the combined original ATK or all other "Tiger Warrior" monsters (and "Tiger Dragon") in the Graveyard. If this card is destroyed by battle, Special Summon 2 "Tiger Warrior" monsters that are banished. Tiger Warrior – Kapak "Tiger Warrior - Maai" + 1 or more non-Tuner "Tiger Warrior" monsters This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is destroyed, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. When this card inflicts battle damage to an opponent, target 1 monster your opponent controls. During your opponent's next End Phase, banish that target. Tiger Dragon of the Yin Yang "Tiger Dragon" + "Tiger Dragon 2" + 1 Dragon-Type Monster Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card's name is always treated as "Tiger Dragon". This card cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card is destroyed, draw until you have 6 cards in your hand. At each End Phase that this card is face-up on your side of the field, take 400 damage. Contact of the Beast & the Warrior Pay half of your Life Points. Special Summon 1 Level 5 or lower "Tiger Warrior" or "Tiger Dragon" monsters from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard in face-up Defense Position. Tiger Warrior - Princess Tulis This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned if there are 3 "Tiger Warrior" or "Tiger Dragon" monsters on your side of the field. If this card is in Attack Position, change it to Defense Position. All "Tiger Warrior" or "Tiger Dragon" monsters on the field gain 500 DEF while this card is in face-up Defense Position. Ride Through the Countryside During each of your End Phases, gain Life Points equal to the number of face-up "Tiger Warrior" or "Tiger Dragon" monsters on your side of the field x 200. Tiger Warrior - Biasa Tribute one "Tiger Warrior" or "Tiger Dragon" monster to target one "Tiger Warrior" or "Tiger Dragon" monster you control. That monster becomes Dragon-Type for 2 of your opponent's turns. Shadow of the Tiger Warrior This card can only be activated while there are 2 or more face-up "Tiger Warrior" or "Tiger Dragon" monsters in your Graveyard. Target 2 of your opponent's face-up monsters and change their battle positions. This card is not sent to the Graveyard after it's activation. Their battle positions cannot be changed while this card is face-up on the field. Tiger Warrior - Tusukan [img]http://i.imgur.com/V10fDoi.jpg[/img If this card is Special Summoned, double your Life Points. This card can attack your opponent directly. Trials of the Tiger Princess Send 1 face-up Beast-Warrior-type card you control to the Graveyard. Add 1 "Tiger Warrior - Princess Tulis" from your Deck to your Hand. DarthPhoenix99
On "Tiger Warrior - Moord" you should word it like this: "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand by banishing three face-up "Tiger Warrior" monsters and "Tiger Dragon" from your side of the field. This card gains 500 ATK for each Beast-Warrior or Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard. This card can not be destroyed on the turn it was Summoned. While this card is face-up on your side of the field, all the monsters on your opponent's side of the field can only attack this card." Hope I helped. TPagSwaqq
SO, I'm bumping this. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Jsevillamol
Lots of cards, but sadly most of it is unplayable. There are some few gems in the set, however. Tiger Sanctuary accelerates the deck and lets you pull off some crazy shenanigans. Hoof has a great effect, easily triggered by Sanctuary. Maais is a level 4 tuner, which enables combo madness with Sanctuary. Its effect is largely irrelevant. Contact of the Beast & the Warrior is outright broken. Need some kind of restriction, such as "only when your opponent controls a monster while you control none". And maybe make ot so you can only summon monsters of different level to prevent xyz plays. Effect restriction also seems important. Kapak would be great if it was level 7 and only needed one non-tuner synchro material. Lastly, Losgemaal has its uses, mainly thanks to Contact. The rest of the deck need to be reworked completely. The deck lacks a clear strategy, so you may want to start thinking of one. Keep working ;)
TPagSwaqq
I mean, the entire focus of the deck is to hit fast and hard. Then, should you fail, you can power up your Synchro monsters and Moord with the monsters in your Graveyard. They all have effects that allow them to hit fast and hard, or defend if need be. In addition, it also centers around the already made "Tiger Dragon" allowing for power-ups of those cards. It's meant more as an expansion. I feel like the effects don't serve one universal purpose, but I'm not a big fan of the modernized play-style that involves countless Special Summons and constant switching of the cards on the field and in the graveyard, like the current Mermail or Lightsworn decks. Thank you very much for your criticisms. They're much appreciated. Contact is a bit broken so I'll fix it. The point of Kapak is to use Deuntjie. Deuntjie is to help those Synchro Summons. Other than that I'd love to hear some more suggestions. Thanks so much!
Jsevillamol
Maybe I should elaborate a bit more in why other cards are useless. Let me explain, card by card: Summoning Moord, aside from being imposible since it is quite hard to have 4 Tigers on field except for a lucky combination of Sactuary and Contact, it's a -4 (!) on summon. For that incredible cost its effects and stats are ridiculous. Summoning him is suicide, no matter the situation. As Moord is unplayable, Wahyu is unplayable by extension. Tiger Dragon 2 has poor stats for a level 6 monster, and why does it matter that my Tigers are treated as dragons? War of the Ancients is slow, plus 1000 atk boost is insignificant; the card is a -1 overall. Imprint of Battle is slow, a clear -1 and relies too much on War. I guess Vrou could provide tribute fodder, and the double attack can put a decent damage on board. As a card for draft format has potential, but its synergy with the rest of the archetype is near zero. Deuntjie cannot be summoned consistently but through tribute summon. That makes him a -2. And if I want to activate its effect, I have to discard. A -3 (!) overall. Unplayable. Tand has no synergy with the archetype. You could substitue her with Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV 6 for all purposes. Scroll of Battle is a bit too situational, though could be sided against certain decks (Ghostricks spring into my mind). And Kapak. Seriously, it is a -2 on summon, and doesn't make up in his effect for it. Tiger Dragon of the Ying Yang is gimmicky, and if it has to be summoned through Poly loses a lot of playability. By the way, I'm curious about Tiger Dragon. Tulis is situational too summon, and does nothing for the deck but being a 2500 wall. LP gaining effects are outdated, as Ride is. Biasa's effect is a -1 with no sense in the deck. I repeat, why would I want my Tigers to be dragon type? Shadow is gimmicky again, and situational. The opponent has to control more than a monster too work, it still allows them to tribute or use the effects of the monster affectted,... It only helps in abusing low defenses, but there are far better cards for that. Tusukan again does nothing for the deck. Its stats and effect are ridiculous as well, since they don't alter the game state. And lastly, trials is a -1 searcher of a lackluster card. And so I've finished my review. Hope that it helps. TPagSwaqq
Maybe this should clarify things. This is an actual card that I've attempted to base the set around. I guess the fact that a lot of the cards lack playability is due to my attempt at trying to balance them. Moord could use an update. In addition, I'm updating Tand because her effect is actually a bit pointless. I'll agree with you there. Tulis I would like to say is a version of "Dark Armed Dragon," only, instead of DARK monsters in the grave, you have "Tiger Warriors" on the field. You want your Tiger monsters to be Dragon-Type to work not only with the "Tiger Dragon" effects, but also use as a fusion material for The Tiger Dragon of the Yin Yang. I'll do some updating and see how you like them. Thanks so much for such honest critique. I hope that posting the actual Tiger Dragon card clears things up. EDIT: I've made some updates to the cards above. I hope you like them!
Dareko Taylor
Hello there, TPagSwaqq, the name is Dareko. I recently seen your "Tiger Warriors", thought I'd check'em out. As good as they are, they are also borderlining some of my own creations, hopefully soon everyone will see them and tremble in fear of the power of my beasts, but right now,I need someone to comment on my recently created cards, but my trouble is trying to find them, cause each time I get done making them, I try and save them only to lose them. How can I be sure that my cards are being saved? Anyhow, if you see this message, holla at yo boy, Dareko Taylor.
TPagSwaqq
Hey there. I know that if you have questions about how to post, you can post in help, but I'd be glad to help you out! Make sure you have the box checked "Save to Set" and then whatever set you save it to is on the left of the load or open card buttons. Hope that helps! I'd love to see your Tiger Warriors and how they compare to mine. ;)
