TPagSwaqq
Hi! This is just the first card of a set I plan to make. The main idea around them is that they are all "familiars" (or animal spirits) of the girls pictured with them. However, they each represent one of the six attributes of Yugioh. If you research the Norwegian word in each of their names, you might find that it means something related to the dragon. Here is the first one! Tell me what you think! I'm not the best at the card grammar, so any commentary or suggestions on that is very much appreciated! I hope you like it! Dragon Familiar of Innsjø This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing one "Dragon Familiar of Brann" on your side of the field. This card gains 500 ATK for each WATER-attribute monster on the field. TPagSwaqq
Just wanted to post the second one if anyone was interested. Dragon Familiar of Brann This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing one "Dragon Familiar of Luft" on your side of the field. This card gains 400 ATK for each FIRE-attribute monster on the field.
TPagSwaqq
And the third... Dragon Familiar of Luft This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing one "Dragon Familiar of Blomst" on your side of the field. This card gains 300 ATK for each WIND-attribute monster on the field. And the fourth... Dragon Familiar of Blomst This card gains 200 ATK for each EARTH-attribute monster on the field. I figure I'll just keep going haha. Dragon Familiar of Natt This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing one "Dragon Familiar of Innsjø" on your side of the field. This card gains 600 ATK for each WATER-attribute monster on the field. And the last (save for some spells). Dragon Familiar of Ozaren This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing one "Dragon Familiar of Natt" on your side of the field. This card gains 700 ATK for each LIGHT-attribute monster on the field. Jsevillamol
Incredible art, but the effects are rather lackluster. The attack gain is bland and boring, and the summoning condititions are plainly awful. Think about how the charmers will never see competitive play in YGO. The names are a great aesthetic touch. Hope to see new cards soon, and a rework if you are struck from inspiration. ;)
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Just pointing out. If there are multiple cards it really doesn't belong in Single cards. Also when you post multiple cards it's best to have them all in the original post. It looks much nicer that way. Even if you add them later. Also the cards aren't very useful. They're quite weak and to get the stronger ones out you need to go through a long list of cards and it's not really that worth it. But I will say the idea is interesting. And I like the look of them. thlch
Hey, first of all, I'd like to say that I love the artwork of those cards. They've a big problem though: Their effects. I would suggest to make the monsters Summon-able among themselves in more ways (meaning that some Dragons should be able to Summon not just one, but 2, 3 or 4 other monsters). As of now, the main strategy behind this monsters is too slow and too situational to be competitive, but this can be changed rather fast. That being said, I indeed like the idea of monsters Summoning a stronger monster in a row (I think it's comparable to monsters like Dark Eradicator Warlock). As both Lord CowCow and Jsevillamol pointed out, this cards could turn out to be a very creative archetype (they just need better effects). I am also looking forward to see some Spell/Trap support cards for those nice dragons. Greets
TPagSwaqq
Thanks so much for all the feedback! I really appreciate it! I wasn't originally intending on it being a set but it just kind of happened that way. I guess I should update the effects. I'll continue to work on them! Thanks so much! TPagSwaqq
I don't know if this is allowed, but I have posted the set, with changed effects and new Spells to the Multiple Cards forum. Please check it out!
