LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
youre not viewing alcohol the right way. drinking is a medium to share with people. beer tastes like s*** to me, but drinking it with others makes me comfortable. just to be clear, i dont think i ver gotten drunk, but i've reahced the point of having a hard time processing complicated sentences, not being able to reminisce correctly, buzzing off when talking to someone, etc... lmao my storytelling skills went downhill, i was trying to tell people a problem my friend and i had (no ride home) and i literally couldnt. Did you just tell me I'm viewing something the wrong way? *rant rant rant rant rant rant rant* Okay, I'm calm. I know what drinking is meant to be. I don't care. It's not something I'm interested in, and I don't think it's worth it.

LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
you'll understand eventually :). Excuse me? Well I'm sorry I don't have your immense experience, obviously I have no idea what I'm talking about. Thank you for enlightening me on the grand mystery that is drinking. *sarcasm* Seriously, that was extremely condescending and pointless.

Scorpionis
It's all about control. If someone is under the age and has bad self-control, they probably shouldn't drink. But if they have good self-control and you've taught them about it and let them start drinking when they're saying 13/14 (not heavily; mind you) it just becomes a thing while when people are completely banned from drinking, when they do get access they drink as much as they can as it's something 'special' to them so it's worth getting drunk to the points when they're ill in there mind. Admittedly, I come from an Italian background so drinking wine is very much part of my background and thus, my perspective is probably quite different to other people. BertyCollosal
I agree with the statements above, but I tend to think of a more culinary aspect. I don't mind if a kid has beer batter wings or anything like that, because the part that makes you drunk is simmered off to the point of which you'd need to eat a crap ton of them just to feel a little bit drunk.
