I'm already s*** at Yugioh, so that rule about "knowing the metagame" to post in RC is a bit of a stretch for me haha. I have no clue what the Advanced Clause is trying to say about reviews; I made a booster-like half set, so a ton of these cards may not have any relation with each other, and overall, there's just a ton of cards. So I'm not sure how long a review has to be, I honestly don't care if it's short or not, comment on what sticks out or whatever. Couple different archetypes that I've created, so they're spoilered. Card art credit is given in the bottom right hand corner (they're overused from like 4 years ago, so idk if they're recognizable or not). Pendulum template is thanks to Zextra (not too familiar with them tbh, idk how the numbered effects work). [spoiler=Abysmal] 2 Level 5 monsters All battle damage inflicted by this card is halved. You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: during this turn only, this card can attack your opponent directly. During your Draw Phase, you can attach the card you just drew to this card as Xyz Material (regardless of card type). 2 Level 7 monsters This card cannot attack. All battle damage you receive from a battle involving this card is received by your opponent instead. You can detach 1 Xyz Material: this card can attack during this turn only. During your opponent's Battle Phase, when you opponent declares an attack: you can detach 1 Xyz Material to negate the attack. During your Draw Phase, you can attach the card you just drew to this card as Xyz Material (regardless of card type). [/spoiler] [spoiler=Euphoric] You can banish this card from your Graveyard to target 1 monster on your side of the field: that monster becomes a Tuner monster. You can only activate this effect once per duel. Once per turn you can activate 1 of the following effects: - Banish 1 "Euphoric" monster from your Deck. - Special Summon 1 banished "Euphoric" monster. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, return banished "Euphoric" monsters to the Graveyard up to the number of "Euphoric" monsters you control. You can banish this card from your Graveyard to target 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field: destroy that card. You take 1000 Life Points of damage during each of your Standby Phases. Once per turn you can banish the top card of your Deck to look at your opponent's hand. If any Pendulum monsters exist in your opponent's hand, return them to the Deck. The Deck is then shuffled. You can Special Summon this card when your opponent Flip Summons a monster. You can banish this card from your Graveyard to target 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field: change that target's battle position. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned, execept by banishing 3 "Euphoric" monsters from your Graveyard (their effects are not activated at this time). When this card is Special Summoned, excavate the top 3 cards of your Deck. Send any "Euphoric" monster to the Graveyard and banish the rest of the cards. This card inflicts Piercing Damage. If this card destroys a monster as a result of battle and sends it to the Graveyard, banish that monster, and return 1 of your banished monsters to the Graveyard. If this card was Tribute Summoned, you can banish it from your Graveyard to add 1 "Euphoric" monster from your Deck to your hand. 2 Level 4 monsters Detach 1 Xyz Material to target 1 card in your hand. Your opponent then guesses what type of card the target card is (Monster, Spell, or Trap). If he/she guesses correctly, banish the target card. If he/she guesses incorrectly, draw cards equal to the number of incorrect guesses it takes to guess correctly. 2 Level 4 monsters You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to negate the Pendulum Summon of a monster(s). Once per turn, during either players turn, you can discard 1 card to target 1 banished "Euphoric" monster; attach that target to this card as Xyz Material. 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters While this card is face-up on the field, neither player can Pendulum Summon. During your opponent's turn, you can banish this card from your Graveyard to end your opponent's Battle Phase. 2 Level 9 monsters If this card is banished, return it to the Extra Deck. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to banish 1 card in your opponent's hand at random. You can banish this card from your Graveyard to banish your entire hand and gain 2000 Life Points. You can only activate this card if you control a face-up "Euphoric" monster. The equipped monster cannot attack and its effect is negated. Destroy this card if there are no face-up "Euphoric" monsters. Tribute 1 monster on your side of the field. Return up to 3 banished cards to their respective Graveyards and destroy cards on the field equal to the number of returned cards. You can only activate this card if you have more banished cards than your opponent. Banish 1 monster from your opponent's Graveyard. Negate the activation of a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect monster's effect that targets a monster on your side of the field and destroy that card. Your opponent draws 1 card. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Anti-Euphoric] This card is unaffected by the effects of cards that activate in the Graveyard. Each time a monster is banished, place 1 counter on this card. This card gains 400 ATK for each counter on it. You can remove 2 counters to destroy 1 card on the field. Destroy this card during the End Phase of the turn it was activated. Monsters that are Pendulum Summoned cannot be used for an Extra Deck Summon as long as this card is face-up in a Pendulum Zone. This card can be Special Summoned by banishing 3 monsters from your opponent's Graveyard (none of their effects are activated at this time). If this card is Special Summoned this way, it cannot attack and is destroyed during the End Phase. If a Field Spell Card is face-up on the field, you can destroy it instead of this card during the End Phase. Destroy this card if you have no monsters on your side of the field. Monsters can only be banished once per turn. Negate the effects of cards or attacks of monsters that would banish a monster(s) exceeding 1 banish per turn. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Synthetic] This card can act as either the Tuner or non-Tuner monster in a Synchro Summon. If this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, you can skip your next Draw Phase to return it to your hand. If this card is used in the Special Summon of a monster from the Extra Deck, draw 2 cards. Skip your next Draw Phase. You can banish this card from your Graveyard to target 1 banished monster: place the targeted monster on the top of its respective owner's Deck. 2 Level 3 monsters This card cannot be destroyed by battle while it has Xyz Material. Once per turn, during your turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material to place 1 card from your Deck or Graveyard on top of your Deck. You must skip your next Draw Phase after the turn this effect is activated. 1 Tuner + 1 or more non Tuner monsters. If a "Synthetic" monster was used in the Synchro Summon of this card, increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 1000. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a Normal Spell or Trap Card is activated: you can skip your next Draw Phase to negate the activation of that card and destroy it. 1 Tuner + 2 or more non-Tuner monsters This card cannot attack unless you skip you next Draw Phase. If this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent, decrease its ATK by the amount of damage inflicted. After the turn this card is activated, if an effect forces you to skip your Draw Phase, draw 1 card during the Standby Phase. This card must be face-up for this effect to resolve. If this card is used in the Xyz or Synchro Summon of a monster, draw 1 card for each different card used in the Summon, then skip your next draw Phase. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Other] During each of your Standby Phases, place 1 counter on this card. You can remove 1 counter from this card to increase or decrease the level of any face-up monster on the field by 1. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned, except when your opponent activates a Set Spell or Trap Card during your turn. While this card is face-up on the field, when your opponent activates a Set Spell or Trap Card, you can discard 1 card of the same type to negate the activation of that card and destroy it. 1 Light Monster + 1 Earth Monster If both Fusion Material monsters used to Fusion Summon this card are in your Graveyard, this card can attack twice during the same Battle Phase. This card cannot be targeted by the effects of Trap Cards. You can tribute this card to negate the activation of a Trap Card during either player's Battle Phase and destroy it. If you do, Special Summon the Fusion Material monsters used to Summon this card to their respective sides of the field. 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Fish-Type monsters During your Main Phase, you can remove this card from play to Special Summon 2 "Fish Tokens" (Fish-Type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) to your opponent's side of the field in Attack Position. Your opponent cannot Set or activate any Spell or Trap Cards in the same column as a "Fish Token" and cannot target any cards in the same column on your side of the field, with the effects of Spell or Trap Cards. 2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn during either player's turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: all monsters that are Special Summoned this turn are destroyed during the End Phase. 3 Level 6 monsters Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material to send 1 random card from your Extra Deck to the Graveyard or return 1 card from your Graveyard to your Extra Deck. As long as an Xyz Monster exists in your Graveyard this card cannot be destroyed by card effects. 3 Level 4 monsters If this card has no Xyz Material, increase its ATK by 1500. Based on the number of Xyz Material attached to this card, once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material to apply the respective effects: •3: Negate the Normal or Special Summon of a monster and destroy it. •2: Negate the activation of a Spell or Trap Card and destroy it. •1: Banish 1 face-up card on the field. During your opponent's turn only, target 1 Xyz Monster on your side of the field with no Xyz Material. The targeted monster is unaffected by the effects of other Spell, Trap or Monster Cards until the End Phase of this turn. If your opponent has any monsters in Attack Position, they must attack the targeted monster. If the target monster is still face-up on the field during the End Phase, it is destroyed, and both players gain Life Points equal to the monster's Rank x 500.
