Tribute 1 Reptile-type monster you control; Special Summon 1 Reptile-type monster from your Deck whose level is higher than the tributed monster's level. A monster Special Summoned by this effect has its effect(s) on the field negated and is destroyed during the End Phase of this turn.

Designed for Ccarayhua and Vennominon. A rather old card that I would say never got some real feedback. So here it returns with its 2012 effect, hoping to get some feedback.

seeing the current meta, this card isn't strong enough to be run in most deck. For higher level reptile summoning people prefer using W Nebula Meteorite, which doesn't destroy the monster, doesn't negate the effect an gives you draws. If you want to make some reptile support like this, I think you should go for something more like Ascetesism of the Six Samurai, or Swallow's Nest.

As a Reptile fan, I really like this card. What I mostly enjoy in this type is that they work so well together that you can be creative and build any kind of Deck you want with them. You like control Decks? Just go with Vaskii. Want a combo deck? Go for Vennominon. With all the supports Reptile get (S/T wise), they should be competitive now, however, they still lack Extra Deck material, and that's the primary reason why they are not a competitive Deck in my opinion.

A quick grammar fix for the card before I comment it:

Tribute 1 Reptile-Type monster; Special Summon 1 Reptile-Type monster from your Deck whose Level is higher than the Level of the Tributed monster. Its effects are negated, and it is destroyed during the End Phase.

This card can be used in almost all Reptile variants, but I think Alien would use it the most effectively, and they are followed by Worms, as they have a huge variety of monster levels. Unfortunately, Venom needs much more support to be playable, and we didn't even speak about being competitive. I think it should have some potential, but what it needs is quickness. I agree with the commenter before me. It is too slow and situational in its current form. I think you should make it to quick-play spell in order to give it more variations and tactics.

Keep it up, I hope you will make more Reptile support.
