Dragon Familiar - Norwegian Dragons of the Elements [Full Set] (Moved from Single Cards)

Hi everyone! I originally just posted one card in the Single Cards section, but it quickly turned into a set so I decided to post the current set here. They've undergone some effect changes due to people noting their previous "bland-ness" and inability to be effective in competitive play, so I hope they're a bit more updated. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, go check out my other sets if you like them. Thanks!

 

About the cards:

-All names are Norwegian translations for something related to the elemental nature of the card.

-The dragons are meant to be "familiars" of the people pictured. If you don't know what a familiar is, it's an expression of oneself or a supernatural entity that was said to have helped magical people with their witchcraft in older times. More recently, familiars have been used as an expression of a person's inner self that reflects their being in a more animal-like form. Lord Voldemort's snake, Nagini, was his familiar.

-The effects are similar to LV monsters, but are slightly different based on how they are tributed.

 

Dragon Familiar of Ozaren

Lore:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Dragon Familiar of Natt". While this card is face-up on the field in Attack position, your opponent cannot target "Dragon Familiar" monsters for an attack. This card gains 250 ATK for each "Dragon Familiar" monster on your field and in your Graveyard. During each of your End Phases, place one Dragon Counter on this card. When there are 3 Dragon Counters on this card, lose 1000 Life Points and banish this card. When this card is removed from the field, Special Summon 1 "Dragon Familiar of Blomst" from your hand or Graveyard. This card cannot be Special Summoned after being banished.

 

Dragon Familiar of Natt

Lore:

During each of your Standby Phases, target one monster on the field: Banish that target. You cannot declare an attack the turn you activate this effect. During your Standby Phase: You can halve your Life Points to send this face-up card to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Dragon Familiar of Ozaren" from your Deck or Graveyard.

 

Dragon Familiar of Innsjø

Lore:

During each of your End Phases, gain 500 Life Points. If this card is targeted for an attack, pay 400 Life Points and negate the attack. This effect can only be used once per turn. During your opponent's Standby Phase: You can send this face-up card to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Dragon Familiar of Natt" from your hand or Deck.

 

Dragon Familiar of Brann

Lore:

When this card is Special Summoned, target one face-up monster your opponent controls. During your End Phase, destroy that monster. This card gains 100 ATK and DEF for each face-up "Dragon Familiar" card on your side of the field. During your End Phase: You can send this face-up card to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Dragon Familiar of Innsjo" from your hand or Deck.

 

Dragon Familiar of Luft

Lore:

When a face-up "Dragon Familiar" monster is targeted for an attack, you can change the battle position of that target. This effect can only be used twice per turn. During your Standby Phase: You can send this face-up card to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Dragon Familiar of Brann" from your hand or Deck. Pay 1000 Life Points if you use this effect.

 

Dragon Familiar of Blomst

Lore:

Your opponent cannot target face-up "Dragon Familiar" monsters for attacks, except this one. During your End Phase: You can send this face-up card to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Dragon Familiar of Luft" from your hand.

 

Outcast Natt of the Nighttime

Lore:

This card can only be equipped to "Dragon Familiar of Natt". The equipped card gains 500 ATK for each "Dragon Familiar" monster in your Graveyard. Once per turn, tribute a monster or destroy this card.

 

Princess Innsjø of the Lake

Lore:

This card can only be activated while there is a face-up "Dragon Familiar" monster on your side of the field. During your End Phase, increase your Life Points by 200 points for each face-up "Dragon Familiar" monster on the field.

 

Trickster Brann of the Fire

Lore:

This card can only be activated when there is a face-up "Dragon Familiar of Brann" on your side of the field. Target 1 Spell/Trap Card on your opponent's side of the field; banish that target.

 

Warrior Lady Luft of the Air

Lore:

This card can only be activated when there is a face-up "Dragon Familiar of Luft" on your side of the field. When this card is activated, all face-up "Dragon Familiar' monsters are changed to Defense position. When a "Dragon Familiar" monster is in Defense position, it gains 700 DEF. 

 

Lady Blomst of the Flowers

Lore:

Target one face-up "Dragon Familiar of Blomst". If the targeted monster would be destroyed, this card is destroyed instead. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can pay 500 Life Points: Return it to the top of the deck.
