Squall19 Posted July 5, 2014 Report Share Posted July 5, 2014 3 Level 4 "Qliphoth" Monster This monster's Rank is increased by 1 for each XYZ Material attached to it. This card is unaffected by effects activated by monsters whose original Level or Rank is lower than this card's Rank. Once per turn you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card; add 1 "Qliphoth" card from your Pendulum Zone, your Graveyard or your Extra Deck to your hand. I tried making an XYZ monster for the new Qliphoth Archetype. It's fairly easy getting 3 Level 4 monsters if you can Pendulum Summon and with this card you can recycle Tool in your Pendulum Zone or in your Extra Deck, or add Disk and Shell from Extra Deck back to your Hand for Tribute Summon or get one of the monsters that were send as XYZ materials back. It's on theme with the Qliphoths, protecting itself as they do, and allows not only shenanigans with the Extra Deck and Pendulum Zones, but the ability to grab back Qliphoths from the grave in case your opponent has somehow got them there, in addition to simply grabbing the materials on it back. A minor detail to assist with the flavor of the card, might I suggest changing it from Mothership to Motherboard? The Qliphoths do have to do with computing after all, and while most refer to programming more than hardware, Qliphoth Disc is a card. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
